Two baby goats were stuck on a bridge in a rural Montana town. Right now, it's uncertain how the goats got out onto the ledge, but they have been rescued and they will be just fine.
Onlookers watched in horror, waiting for one of the goats to fall off into the water. This would surely be a death sentence for the animal.
The horrified goats were stuck for two days. People called a nearby coal mine who came out with a crane and were able to bring the animals to safety. I cannot imagine what would have happened had the coal mine not had the equipment or desire to help out in this situation.
The ledge was six inches - nothing for a four legged animal. It's amazing that they made it - and you can see photos and news coverage of their rescue below.
