Charles Leaf arrested and charged: a 4 year old was allegedly assaulted sexually by the MyFoxNY correspondent. The news that Charles Leaf allegedly sexually assaulted a 4 year old is disturbing, at best. Leaf is a former Marine who has worked at the network since 2006. He's a married father of two, and the network is looking over the allegations. Leaf was charged with aggravated sexual assault on a minor, and has been freed on $250,000 bond. His exact charges are one charge of 1st degree sexual assault on a minor, one charge of 2nd degree sexual assault of a minor, and endangering welfare of a child.
Charles Leaf is a well respected reporter and has even won Emmy awards. Reports indicate that he's an "acquaintance" of the child that was abused, although it's uncertain what his relationship is to her.
