Clarence Thomas Wife Seeks Apology From Anita Hill

Clarence Thomas Wife seeks apology from Anita Hill.  Clarence Thomas’s wife, Virginia Lamp Thomas, phoned Anita Hill seeking an apology.  Why, you might ask.  Well, Anita Hill accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment back at his 1991 Senate confirmation hearings. This is something that has haunted the Supreme Court Justice for many, many years. He even referred to it in his 2007 memoir.

According to USA Today, Virginia Lamp’s phone message said “Good morning, Anita Hill, it's Ginni Thomas. I just wanted to reach across the airwaves and the years and ask you to consider something. I would love you to consider an apology sometime and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband. So give it some thought and certainly pray about this and come to understand why you did what you did. OK, have a good day.”

Anita Hill stands by her testimony.  Clarence Thomas has maintained his innocence and in his book “My Grandfather’s Son” compared himself to the black man wrongly accused of rape in “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

What do you think of Clarence Thomas Wife Seeks Apology from Anita Hill? Do you think Hill’s testimony was true?
