[PHOTO] White House Pink House Breast Cancer Awareness Month

White House Pink House Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The White House went pink for a night in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, garnering the attention of tourists and onlookers. The rose colored spotlights made our nation's capital look oh-so-pink.

In a way, I wish the whole month featured nights where the capital building would be lit up all colorful and pretty...or at least on the weekend.

During the year, 40,000 women will die from breast cancer and 207,000 new cases. It's great that our nation's capital did something to raise awareness.

This month is full of awareness for breast cancer. From the NFL to 1600 Pennsylvania avenue there are plenty of great organizations helping find a cure.
