Pennsylvania Election Results 2010: Mike Kelly vs Kathy Dahlkemper Congress Results

Pennsylvania Election Results 2010: Mike Kelly vs Kathy Dahlkemper Congress Results.  Republican Mike Kelly has defeated Kathy Dahlkemper for Congress.  Dahlkemper is a Democratic incumbent in the House of Representatives, and was defeated despite the fact that she is an incumbent in a traditionally Democratic state.

Dahlkemper is a pro-life Democrat - but she still supported the Health Care Reform despite loopholes that existed that might allow public funding of abortions.  This didn't sit well with her more conservative followers.  As such, she's been voted out.

This is just another indication of how people are growing frustrated with politicians who "rubber stamp" the president's agenda. There is growing frustration in the country.

However, the Pennsylvania Election Results 2010 are an indication that in 2010 things may be beginning to change.

  1. Good. Dahlkemper was a lousy Congresswoman who paid zero attention to her constituents. She betrayed us on more than the HCR bill.

  3. The American voter has a short memory. The bailouts began in 2008 with George W. Bush, a president anxious to avoid adding another Great Depression to his sorry legacy. But 2 years later, Democrats shoulder the bulk of the blame from an impatient electorate. So now it's back to the hands-off-business policies that got us into this mess. And the ever-increasing polarization abetted by the far right means more DC gridlock ahead. Lovely. The loss of GOP moderates is why I left the party 15 years ago.

  4. I'm moving out of this country if you imbeciles continue to vote republican and blame democrats for the mess this country is in. Mike Kelly is going to be a lousy congressman. He has already proven to be a lousy politician.

  5. Thank God Mike Kelly is a lousy politician, because we don't need any more politicians in office. What we need are people like Mike who is a great neighbor to the community, a wonderful family man and a successful business owner who I'm sure knows how to look at the bottom line.

  6. Patience. Mike Kelly will be part of the problem in just two short months.

  7. Throw them all out. Bush was bad and Obama is worse. Where was all of that transparency that we were supposed to have?

  8. The goverment should provide a strong national defense and provide an infrastructure for education (which, by the way, is necessary for a strong national defense) and stay out of everything else!

  9. There is no need for full-time politicians, especially at the state level. They try to fill their time by enacting more laws. Why not enforce the ones that are already on the books before creating more?

  10. It makes no difference if KD or MK is in office. Nothing is going to change. The Republicans won the House the Democrats won the Senate and we have a Democrat in the White House. People say they want smaller goverment but just yesterday much to the delight of Republicans, 600 billion dollars was spent by the federal government dumping it into the stock market to try and stimulate job growth. It should start working in several months just in time for Republicans to take credit.
