Washington Senate Race 2010

Washington Senate Race 2010: The race between Dino Rossi and incumbent Patti Murray was quite remarkable. Washington elections are the hardest to call because they only allow mail-in votes. This means that it takes time to actually compile the results and report them - and estimating a time frame to have the results ready to be certified is difficult, at best.

However, Rossi conceded last night and incumbent Patty Murray will go on to represent the people of Washington State, avoiding another GOP turnover in what has become an election full of such.

Murray will join Harry Reid, Michael Bennet, and other Senate incumbents that were lucky enough to keep their jobs.

Now that the Washington Senate Race 2010 is concluded we are one step closer to having a new Washington in January.
