Prop 19 Polls Against Marijuana Legalization? Hell just froze over. Prop 19, or the marijuana legalization ballot measure is losing support in the state of California. Where one would think that this would be a sure fire political victory, it's losing support.Bloomberg reports that a Field poll indicates that 42% support Prop 19, whereas 49% are against the measure. There's a margin of error of about 3%, and if you add up there's still an undetermined amount of likely voters. This one could go either way folks.
The measure is proposed to create an economy within California, thus raising taxes and boosting morale.
But hey...how productive would workers REALLY be if they could smoke dope? Think about it...in California are they going to have their 10:00 pot break, or would the work day start somewhere around noon?
