Unemployment Extension A 99ers Continuing Tier 5 Battle Despite Senate Leave

The unemployment extension tier 5 99ers battle continues, even though Senate is not in session. With the elections coming up soon, there's no doubt that those who truly believe in the cause should continue their fight. The tiers 1-4 extensions of unemployment benefits will go away on November 30, and with the Senate not coming back until after the mid-term elections, things are a bit uncertain, at best.

You see, if the GOP gets into office their main concern is going to be extending the Bush tax cuts, a move that they claim will stimulate the economy.

If the Democrats keep control of the House and the Senate, then perhaps the passage of tier 5 extension would be more possible. Still yet, if the July passage of that extension is any indication of how things will be, it will be difficult to get any benefits passed quickly before the tiers 1-4 expire.

The battle continues, but hopefully through the election season the right people will be put in office who will fight for the unemployment extension.

An Unemployment Extension Tier 5 99ers Arguments after Glenn Beck Rally

An unemployment extension of Tier 5 for the 99ers is an important political issue, but is one that seems to have been largely ignored.  Arguments for the unemployment extension and Tier 5 benefits for 99ers can be found right in the very fibers of Glenn Beck’s rally in Washington DC this past weekend.

How can it be, you ask? Well, the purpose of the rally was to bring the US back to the values and honor experienced by our forefathers. Over the past couple hundred years or so, there have been a lot of things we have forgotten.

Helping our fellow Americans appears to be one of them.

In a day and age where we dole out money to sleazy Wall Street Bankers, corrupt foreign governments, and more – we can’t seem to find the money in our coffers to help our fellow Americans.

Restoring honor to the United States means lending a helping hand. It means helping those who are in need right now, knowing that when we are down, they will be there to pick us up.  As a nation, we are faltering and it’s because we tend to tear each other down in times of need.

So please, do whatever you can to ensure that an unemployment extension … a true Tier 5 for the 99ers is passed, and soon.
