Chile miner mistress wife rescue reunion went viral today. The Chilean miner's mistress who greeted him at the minehole while his wife didn't show up was the talk of the news. You see, the wife of this miner found out about his lover when they were at a vigil and the lover was screaming out his name. The story caught on in the media. After all, sensationalist human interest story always is more exciting to the press than what is actually unfolding. Sure we could talk about the man who met his child for the first time, or the last guy out of the hole who will be in the Guinness Book of World records...but wouldn't you rather hear about the man with a mistress and a wife and how the wife won't greet him but the girlfriend will.

ReplyDeleteThe wife and miner have been seperated for ten years now. The woman they are calling his "mistress" have been together for 10 years as well. Not only did the wife know about this woman, but so did the miner's children. This man is a hero, and kept 2 diabetics and an individual with high blood pressure alive for the time they were trapped in the mine. It is disgusting how the media will skew the story to cell their product. This man should be commended for his accomplishments rather than what he may, or may not have done in his personal life.
