The question that remains is this: although re-elected, will Nancy Pelosi serve out another term in the House? Could she really sustain a fall from grace, and in essence still hold her chin up and keep on working for our country's benefit?
This is something that the nation is watching. In the wake of passing the landmark healthcare bill, people across the country donated money to oust speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi from power. It appears as if the anti-incumbent sentiment is ringing strong.
What do you think? Will former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi serve her term, even though she's re-elected?
I hope not.

ReplyDeleteThe REAL question is THIS: When did she ever work for our country's benefit in the first place??
No power hungry person ever resigns. She'll be on every TV talk show for the next two years.
ReplyDeleteBest benifits in the World; great healthcare plan, great retirement plan; in this economy why would anyone quit a job like that?
ReplyDeleteNancy Pelosi's home city of San Francisco just outlawed Happy Meals. Such an egregious invasion on your freedom to choose what to feed your children is unconscionable and unforgivable.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the former U.S.S.R. What's next, the State of California will outlaw sugar? Coffee? When does it stop?
Nancy Pelosi is an unabashed Socialist and should be removed from office.
Pelosi is a very crafty woman. She does not care what her constituents want. But she knows how to wield power to accomplish her own personal agenda. She now needs to step-down as the Speaker of the House, but she still can make a lot political waves as a congresswoman and continue frivolous spending for her own personal gratification. So why should she quit. She does not embarrass at all. Do not think she is concerned about saving face. Just flaunting it. Enjoy her while you still can.
ReplyDeleteMe-Maw Pelosi needs to hang it up, and ride out her days sipping iced tea, or a tall cool budweiser on her rocker, situated by the oak trees overlooking the bay. Good luck, god speed, and in the infamous words of the Count from Sesame Street, C is for cookie!
ReplyDeleteNot sure, but she is gonna get served
ReplyDeleteI think the real question is, how could Pelosi and Reid get legitimately re-elected in the first place? After all their public gaffes, statements expressing a deep distrust and disapproval of their constituents, and constantly championing bills that strip away American liberties (Obamacare, Disclose Act) one must wonder what sort of bad wiring is in the heads of the the people of Nevada and California that they could popularly elect these two villains.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia and nevada, what a pair of losers.. Looks like nevada will follow california right down the drain!
ReplyDeleteNancy Pelosi is a disgrace to our free country.
ReplyDeleteI fail to understand the loathing Nancy Pelosi inspires. She is articulate, well-spoken, and carries herself with dignity. Her job has been to organize and implement the business of the House, and as a Democratic majority leader, she has discharged it well, even eliciting comparisons to the legendary speaker Tip O'Neill. In her simple pearls and neat coiffure, she is an appropriate example for young American women--the first female Speaker and third in line for the presidency. Of course she is not going to advocate for Republican legislation--she is a Democrat! But all Americans should be proud of her accomplishments.
ReplyDeleteAnnkat007, spoken like a true liberal, socialist Democrap. You guys back each other up no matter how wrong you are!
