President Obama's 11/03/2010 Press Conference Speech wasn't likely the speech that he wanted to give. In a perfect world, President Obama would have been able to speak about the change that he promised during the election, and how the American people noticed the efforts of his administration. Instead, he had to chalk it up, admit that he had something to do with the voter discontent, and deliver a professional speech summing up the plans for the next two years.
It's going to be more difficult for Obama to press his agenda through the legislative branches of government. Now, the House is controlled by the GOP, and even though the Senate remains blue there have been some red gains.
