"Juan Williams Fired"

Juan Williams fired...but don't feel bad. He was hired by Fox News. NPR didn't like Juan Williams' views expressed on the O'Reilly Factor, and as such terminated him. Both right and left wing pundits have publicly denounced the firing of Juan Williams, but as such the NPR has stood behind their decision.

Besides, it's not like a "sudden change of heart" on the side of the NPR organization would change things. Juan Williams, who typically came on Fox News and did not agree with a lot of their views, has in essence been hired by the organization. A lot of people have called foul on the decision, claiming that it violated Williams' first amendment rights.

To make matters worse, the head of NPR suggested that Juan Williams' comments be saved for his shrink or publicist.

"NPR vs Fox News" Battle Begins with Juan Williams, Bill O'Reilly

NPR vs Fox News battle begins with Juan Williams and Bill O'Reilly. You see, Bill O'Reilly had Juan Williams on Fox News after O'Reilly appeared on "The View" and angered two hosts of the show who subsequently walked off. Williams discussed the event with O'Reilly and in the end ended up getting fired.

Now there's a big discussion over NPR and Fox News. NPR is National Public Radio - a publicly funded news organization. After the incident in which Juan lost his job was made public, there's been an outcry to end public funding of the news organization. In addition, the organization recently received a huge influx of resources from a well known liberal Billionaire George Soros.

On the other hand, Fox has been the "black sheep" of the news world. It's typically conservatively slanted news, and the commentators have a typically unfavorable view of the current administration. Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, and several other commentators are typically very divisive individuals.

The difference between Fox News and NPR is that Fox news receives no federal funding. NPR is paid by taxpayers to be unbiased.

Where do you stand on the NPR vs Fox News arguments?

Juan Williams Hosts O'Reilly Factor After New Fox News Contract

Juan Williams Hosts O'Reilly Factor After New Fox News Contract. Former NPR correspondent Juan Williams hosts the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News after he got fired from NPR and received a reported $2 million contract from Fox News.

The O'Reilly Factor is typically hosted by Bill O'Reilly who has been front and center in the media for the past week after his appearance on "The View." While on "The View" O'Reilly said some things that struck a chord with Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg and actually caused them to walk off.

His comment? That Muslims killed us on 9/11. Since then, the Liberal media has been in a tissy, and Juan Williams from NPR went on the O'Reilly Factor Monday to discuss. He was subsequently fired for his comments on the show.

However, after seeing Juan Williams on O'Reilly Factor, I am really hoping that he gets his own nightly news show. He's got a unique perspective and one that I think will be great for Conservative African Americans.
