Zahra Baker Case: Missing Girl Update, Authorities Found Additional Evidence

Zahra Baker case - missing girl update. The Zahra Baker case continues, and there's an ambiguous lead in the case. Police say that they found something at a search site roughly 20 miles from the Baker home. They won't elaborate on what they found, but say that they need to look at whatever it is they found more closely before drawing conclusions.

Cadaver dogs sniffed out human remains on some of the Bakers' vehicles and a wood chipper owned by Adam Baker's employer. A prosthetic leg that was found is confirmed to have belonged to the young girl, after comparing it to medical records from her native Australia.

Authorities are tight lipped about the case, as any leaks of information could hurt advancement and prosecution once a suspect can be identified. So far, Elisa Baker is only a person of interest, and is held in jail on charges unrelated to the girl's disappearance.

Zahra Baker Case: 1 Month Later, Missing Girl Not Found

Zahra Baker case: 1 month later, missing girl still not found.  Zahra Baker went missing about a month ago - or perhaps longer. The problem in Zahra's case is that no one outside her immediate family saw her at least one month before she was reported missing by her father. 


Elisa Baker, Zahra's stepmother, is a person of interest. She's behind bars, and admitted to writing a fake ransom note for the girl. 


Authorities did find her prosthetic leg, and confirmed it belonged to her by comparing the serial number to medical records.  Bone was also found around the area she could have went missing from, and tests are underway to see if the bone does, indeed, belong to Zahra. 


There's a lot of indications that the young girl is dead.  Her birth mother in Australia has been looking for her, and located her only a couple of days before she went missing. Her mother doesn't think she's alive. 


In addition, an Amber Alert for the girl was cancelled shortly after her stepmother admitted to writing a fake ransom note.  Her case is being investigated as a homicide, although no body has been found.

Zahra Baker case updates are desired by all who are very curious what happened to this young girl. Zahra Baker went missing several weeks ago, and police expect the worst - that this young girl is dead.

That being said, there's still hope that Zahra Baker is alive, although her birth mother in Australia doesn't believe it to be the case.

Zahra was a bone cancer survivor, and was missing a leg and wore a hearing aid.

No developments have happened that lead us any closer to resolution of the case. Elisa Baker, the girl's stepmother wrote a letter to a serial killer letter database indicating that her death was no one's fault, but that what the father did to the girl after her death was horrifying.

Zahra Baker Found? Missing NC Girl Updates

Zahra Baker Found? Missing NC Girl Updates are available, although news that her body has been found is not available. However, authorities have confirmed that the serial number on a prosthetic leg that was found in a home where Zahra Baker's stepmother used to live belongs to the missing 10 year old girl.


Zahra's case has been a murder investigation for some time now, although there have not been any breaks in finding the young girl's body. Perhaps in one of the most disturbing developments to transpire in the case, Zahra's stepmother wrote prison pen-pal letters to the owner of a Web site which specializes in jail letters from serial killers.


She seemed to indicate that the girl's death was "no one's fault" but that what Adam [Zahra's father] did to her body was horrific, and made her fear for her life.


Then again, the person who got the letter doesn't believe 100% of what he reads. And that's good...


I just wish they would find Zahra Baker's body so the beautiful little girl could rest in peace.

Zahra Clare Baker Homicide update hasn't brought us a body yet. It was disheartening when the Amber Alert for Zahra Clare Baker was canceled and a homicide investigation ensued. Elisa Baker, the girl's stepmother is a person of interest in the case.

Adam Baker and Zahra previously lived in Australia. Elisa Baker's MySpace profile used the handle "gothicfairy6668." Her last login was the day before Zahra was reported missing by Adam.

Zahra and her father had a happy life in Australia, and family friends noted that Elisa Baker may have been abusing the little girl. They say she would visit peoples' homes and then get extremely upset when she had to go home. Even more sad is that little Zahra is a bone cancer survivor who lost hearing in both her ears due to chemotherapy. This poor little girl beat the odds, only to succumb to a horrific death.
