Initially when Al Gore's divorce from Tipper was announced, they announced that the reason for the split was that they grew apart. Seems like a weird explanation for someone that has been married for over four decades and has grown kids and grandkids.
Of course an affair was immediately speculated. Al Gore spent a lot of time with Clinton, and birds of a feather flock together. However, no immediate rumors hit the circuits. That was until this week.
Only it's not exactly an affair. A masseuse claims that Gore sexually assaulted her in a hotel, and forced himself upon her. She did make a report - but not immediately. She also sold her story to the Enquirer for a cool six figures.
So just because the claims were made doesn't make them true. Of course, it's possible - anything is possible. Isn't it ironic, though, that someone came forward and sold a story such as this after Al Gore's divorce made headlines? Why not come forward with this sooner? It would have been a headline grabber anyways given that he's the former VP.
Al Gore's people deny the allegations. The Enquirer has broken many high profile stories such as the John Edwards affair and the Tiger Woods first alleged affair so this will definitely be a conspiracy theory in the political circles until it can be proven or disproven.
No, she did NOT "sell it to the National Enquirer for a cool million dollars." That's what they asked for, but they told her to get lost. All they needed was the 73-page police report on the incident to report the story. Get your facts straight.

Everything in the universe is upheld by the word of His Power. He Got this. We never needed a global warming advocate in the thousands of centuries that the Earth has been created. Plus we cant do anything really but depend on God, and thats good enough. He created the earth, dont you think He knows how to bring everything back into order if it gets off. ReplyDeleteIn addition to what I said previously, I think when the whole global-warming thing jumped off it was a scam. Yeah I know that we need to be better stewards with the earth and all, but God is not concerned with the Earth as much as HE is with Our SOULS, THATS WHAT HE CARES ABOUT. He wants to all of us in right relationship with him not with Mother-Nature. this whole topic is a distraction from the real issues that we face as humans.Believe me the earth is going to be here, its not going nowhere anytime soon. But we will, and its up to us now to decide where we will spend Eternity,b/c everybody doesnt go to heaven....

Well Al Gore has made a mint off of global warming and he is not a scientist. God will handle the earth and he needs to handle his personal life. People who do massages are in my opinion endangered somewhat. A man should be able to control himself. This masseuse might be telling the truth and she may now only Gore, she and God knows for sure. I am not a Gore lover so anyadvances he made would be disgusting to me.

Our government is filled with dishonest people who have evaded taxes and any and everthing. Now Blagojevich is on the hot seat and who will go there with him????????????? McCrystal did nothing as wrong as some in the offices and good men are hard to keep so maybe he should have been able to stay and Obama not be so fast to accept his resignation.
