Joran Van Der Sloot Update - Confession Dropped (Again)

Joran Van Der Sloot is the prime suspect in Natalee Holloway's disappearance. Joran is also the prime suspect in another murder case which transpired in Peru. It's believed that the Dutch native could potentially be a serial killer. There are many similarities between the assumed murder of Natalee Holloway (her body has yet to be found) and the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez in Peru.

Both the disappearance of Holloway and the murder of Flores took place on May 30 exactly five years apart. Van Der Sloot met both women in a casino, and was the last person to see either of them alive.

In addition, after being questioned he admitted to killing both women, but in each case later rescinded his confession saying he was forced to make the confession.

Van Der Sloot also faces legal troubles in the United States, where he is accused of perpetrating an extortion scheme against the mother of Natalee Holloway.

Van Der Sloot once again wishes to speak with authorities in Aruba about the Natalee Holloway case. If he ends up in a Peruvian jail there are doubts over whether or not he will survive the ordeal.

Anita Van Der Sloot, his mother, has said that he missed his chance to be an actor. She noted that he was not a difficult child but would sneak out and go to the casinos.

Authorities are tired of the suspect and his games. There's some hope that he will tell where the body of Natalee Holloway is before ending up in a jail in Peru.
