Kyron Horman Missing Case Latest News - Dogs ad Divorce

Kyron Horman is still missing, and his case continues.  The Latest news places dogs as being used in the search for him, and a divorce between Terri Moulton Horman and Kaine Horman.  Deputies are using border collies to try to find Kyron Horman.  These are not cadaver dogs, rather dogs used to find missing persons.

In addition, a strange twist of events brings Kaine Horman to divorce Terri.  She is the stepmother of the missing boy and the last one to have seen him alive.  Kaine is seeking sole custody of the couple's 19 month old daughter.

This makes a strange case even stranger.

An Amber Alert was never issued for Kyron, and authorities haven't mentioned that they think he was abducted.  Many speculate that the authorities know more than they let on but don't want to jeopardize the case.

The search efforts are focusing on Sauvie Island. The area surrounding Kyron's father's home and many areas around the school, including a river have been searched.

The divorce filing cites "irreconcilable differences."  Prior to the divorce filings, the couple showed a united front.  Now, Kaine has a separate home with the couples' daughter Kiara. Even stranger is an order of protection filed by Kaine and also an order that Terri Horman must stay away from firearms.

Desiree Young and her husband remain united with Kaine Horman.  Desiree is Kyron's birth mother.  Kaine and Terri had custody of the seven year old. Desiree has been extremely distraught during this whole ordeal, as would be expected from a mother in this situation.

Many people think that in some way the stepmother had something to do with the boy's disappearance.  The authorities have not named her as a person of interest.   Although the divorce does look suspicious, it could just be that Kaine can't live with the fact that his boy is missing and she's the last one to have seen him and she doesn't have the information to help him be found.

There's still a lot of hope that the young boy will be found alive.  The case is extremely strange and leaves many people scratching their heads. Hopefully, the young boy will be found alive and well.

  1. Surely this isn't a plot for a reality show, is it?

  2. Is it a coincidence that Kyron is in a CSI Tshirt and that his stepmother takes what is the last known picture of him? I think not; great alibi for her, or so she thinks, taking a last photo. I pray for this family and this beautiful, innocent child!!!

  3. No I live in the area and it's definatly a real situation and not a plot for reality show...it is a very sad case...and we all know who did it...terri...the details will be released soon enough and we will all find out the details in a couple of weeks when the investigation is complete...they dont want to compromise locking up the person forever....so sad for the rest of the family...

  4. Candy I hope you're right. As an outsider just reading news articles, it's looking more and more like a case that's being bungled to the point of being an unsolved mystery. No body has been found, Terri hasn't been named a POI, the police have instructed the family not to give Harry Oakes & his dogs a scent article to try to find a body, even though two separate teams of his dogs hit on the same spot at Sauvie Island --what kind of case will they have if they never find Kyron?

  7. right now everyone's focus should be on finding this handsome young boy. Justice will be served and it does take time but time is very important when it comes to locating a lost child.
