Giovanna Huidobro, nightclub hostess/social acquaintance of Jesse Jackson Jr is a headline grabber right now. She's known as the woman in the center of the Blago scandal, where the former Illinois governor is accused of trying to "sell" Barack Obama's Senate seat to Jesse Jackson, Jr after the 2008 presidential elections. Raghuveer Nayak is the fundraiser who brought Giovanna Huidobro's name to light, after he admits to paying for her to fly from DC to Chicago Twice at Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s request. Huidobro denies having any knowledge of any plan to sell the President's former Senate seat, but has not spoken out publicly about the story since it hit the press.
Of his relationship with Huidobro, Jackson told the press it was "a private and personal matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago," and asked for his privacy.
