Rahm Emanuel Chicago Mayor? Obama Chief of Staff Leaves White House?

Rahm Emanuel Chicago Mayor? Obama's chief of staff, who has been heavily criticized may be leaving the White House in order to run for an office of his own. Of course, Obama is from the Chicago area so it's familiar political stomping grounds.

Chicago is 1/3 white, 1/3 black, and 1/3 hispanic. Already, African Americans and Hispanics have voiced their opposition of Emanuel - and that's not all that surprising. Each race usually supports a candidate of their own race according to the Christian Science Monitor.

Former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, Rep. Danny Davis (D), state Sens. James Meeks (D) and Rickey Hendon (D) are African Americans who are named as possible democratic contenders. Meeks may be a bit controversial, as he has more conservative views. Jesse Jackson, Jr was previously named as a good option - but then he got entangled in the Planet Blago debacle.

Although Rahm Emanuel has made it in the West Wing, will he make it in Chicago? Although many may be glad to see him go or hear of his departure, it might not be for as long as we think.

Giovanna Huidobro, nightclub hostess/social acquaintance of Jesse Jackson Jr is a headline grabber right now. She's known as the woman in the center of the Blago scandal, where the former Illinois governor is accused of trying to "sell" Barack Obama's Senate seat to Jesse Jackson, Jr after the 2008 presidential elections.

Raghuveer Nayak is the fundraiser who brought Giovanna Huidobro's name to light, after he admits to paying for her to fly from DC to Chicago Twice at Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s request. Huidobro denies having any knowledge of any plan to sell the President's former Senate seat, but has not spoken out publicly about the story since it hit the press.

Of his relationship with Huidobro, Jackson told the press it was "a private and personal matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago," and asked for his privacy.

Still yet, the story remains juicy - not only because of a scandal involved but because the woman is a beautiful blonde Latina. Sex, scandal, and corruption perks our interest. As the Blagojevich scandal continues, we will keep you informed.

Giovana Huidobro: Alleged Mistress of Jesse Jackson, Jr

Giovana Huidobro is the alleged mistress of Jesse Jackson, Jr and as such her name quickly became the topic of much political gossip. Giovana Huidobro is only the latest of Jackson's woes, as he has been entangled in Planet Blago.

After Barack Obama was elected to be the President of the United States, Rod Blagojevich was the governor of Illinois and was charged with appointing a senator to take Obama's seat in the Senate. There has been alarming "proof" that Blago was going to enter into a deal in regards to Obama's seat to Jesse Jackson Jr, the son of Civil Rights activist the Reverend Jesse Jackson. Blago is innocent until proven guilty, and is still in the midst of a trial regarding these allegations.

Giovana Huidobro is a restaurant hostess, and it's coming out that Jackson paid airfare for her to come out to Chicago from Washington DC more than once - yet another ethical red flag for the beleaguered politician. However, there's no indication that he violated any ethics rules in paying for the airfare and not disclosing it at this time. (An investigation is still pending.)

Last week Jackson told investigators to "Bring it On" if they had proof he was involved in any illegal dealings with Obama's former Senate seat.
