Former President Bill Clinton spoke on Wednesday at the UBS Wealth Management seminar. He spoke about the economy, among other things. He says we need to modernize our education, healthcare, and finance systems. In addition, he claims we need to modernize the way we make and consume energy. He also admits that we need to modernize the government at not only the federal level, but the state and local levels.
Perhaps his most interesting comment was that we need to ask ourselves what the role we expect the government to play, and then ask ourselves how to reach that goal in a way we can afford.
