Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010

Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars was a big deal last night. Although she was on the bottom two for two consecutive weeks during the season, Bristol Palin avoided the bottom two last night and was told early in the competition that she was safe from elimination.

Reviews of Bristol Palin are mixed. There are many out there who don't think that she's an appropriate contestant on the show because it's her mother, not her, that is immensely popular.

However, Bristol Palin and dance partner Mark Ballas delivered a strong performance this week and avoided elimination altogether. If they keep up the momentum they should be able to hold on for a couple more weeks.

In the end, the shocking elimination results sent Audrina Patridge packing. Man! What a shocking end to last night's Dancing with the Stars!

  1. I don't think Bristol should have been considered for the show. AND she should have been gone two weeks ago. She's awful. It's a shame that Jennifer Gray was in jeapardy last week with Bristol's hidious performance and it's a shame that Audrina went home last night. She was FAR better than Bristol!!

  2. Go Bristol!! It is great to see you doing well after all that you've been through.

  3. The Producer's think the show needs Bristol...they're wrong. I believe the outside votes count for 10% only. Bristol is getting the boot next week...believe me. Her Mom is dreaming about being President of United States. I hope that's not the reason to keep Bristol. I'll bet my Home on that. That's no bull!

  4. The cow should go! Now we have to be subjected to politics in our entertainment - because apparently the whole freaking Tea Party is voting this year for their "favorite candidate". It just goes to show that they favor inferior persons to support over qualified ones. Let's get the show back to dancing with talent!

  5. Audrina GONE!!!!?!!! Should be Bristol. What a pity that such a good dancer was eliminated. The one that should be is still there.

  6. I'm going to keep Bristol in as long as she can, all my votes are going to her. Go Bristol!

  7. Pro Palin blogs are pushing for votes for Bristol. Conservatives4Palin posts an open DWTS thread every Monday night urging votes for Bristol. They use multiple emails to log in to vote and multiple landlines and cellphones. One said he voted 60+ times. They tweet the number too. In the beginning Sarah Palin went on her political Facebook and asked people to vote. Her staffer started Conservatives4Palin(says she isn't involved now) has connections and tweets to
    vote.
Palin has 2,300,000+ followers. All she had to do was post it once to start the ball rolling so whole household can vote with different cells and emails. It isn't fair to the others. I complained to ABC as have others.

  8. Wow everyone hateing on Bristol. It's a shame really that people can't look past their own political hatred to see the improvement she has made. And if you watched from the begining you will here the judges complimenting her technique (ie she can dance) but she is afraid to loose herself to the music. She is overcoming that by leaps and bounds. The dancer I take exception with is Brandy, the Diva who looks down on everyone around her, Poor sportmanship you know sometimes bad attitudes cost you the prize too.

  9. you got to feel sorry for Bristol. She has to know how bad she is and yet she's still stuck dealing with this humiliation every week. Vote her off the island for the poor kid's sake.

  10. Bristol has as much right to be on the show as the others. Not being a career performer and doing as well as she has done is fantastic!! She dances as well as if not better that others that are still on the show! GO Bristol!! Dance lovers are voting for you!!!!!

  11. Bristol is very sweet and humble unlike Jennifer Grey who is also a pro dancer. Bristol is doing great and is improving, which is what the show is about.

  12. Political blogs for Sarah shouldn't be pitching Bristol. She has improved and so had Florence but she got voted off. Personally, I just thought last night was wrong. I like Rick, so that's who I usually vote for.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @12:21 So dance lovers are voting for Bristol even if she doesn't dance well? So if she messes up that doesn't matter? So in the future, it is just win the mirror ball with 7's & 8's even if someone else gets 9's and 10's and fewer phone votes?

    ReplyDelete
  14. No, you do not win win with 7 and 8's, but Bristol after her comeback performance this week, deserves to see if she can yet improve again. If she messes up this next week then probably yes, she needs to move on. But then again so do Kurt and Rick, who by the way you can get angry with their viewers also who are just voting for them because they are athletes. Come on people, this has happened alot on this show, look when Jerry Rice was on, he should have left long before he did. People, need to vote for the dancing not just because of who the person is and for the record, I have voted for Bristol the past few weeks, had she bombed this last week I would not have voted for her again. Fair and balanced!

  15. Bristol is just as much a "celebrity" as Brandi and Jennifer Gray...what have they done since Moesha and Dirty Dancing...if they had any career opportunties they wouldn't be on DTWS. Plus Bristol is sweet, Brandi and Jennifer are drama queens...sick of them both already even though they are better dancers than Bristol. When Kurt & Bristol are voted off, I'm done watching for this season.

  16. Sheez the hate for Bristol. I don't get it. She's perfectly charming.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Bristol is a real person- just like the rest of us. We should be backing her. And by the way- I have been really impressed with the way that girl can dance!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Bristol and Kurt have been the most improved and should stay as long as the viewers vote for them. Judges should not be biased. Most of the others have had acting/dancing instructions in their careers.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I don't vote for the show, but I enjoy watching and part of the reason is Bristol , she is a ray of sunshine and very real, she's the under dog and and hope she go's far on and off the show!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Interesting to see all of the hate from the "loving" "tolerant" left here.

Bristol is a pretty good dancer, especially considering she's never danced before. She has the techniques down well. I suspect she inherited her mother's photographic memory.

As for people voting. You losers complaining do realize that both NBA and NFL fan groups are out there voting for their guys en masse, right?

Also, the only people bringing politics in this is you folks.

Wise up liberals, both Bristol and Sarah Palin are much beloved people among the majority of this nation. They are both great examples of what America is all about.

I think it's wonderful that Bristol has been able to overcome her shyness and start to open up. I also think she was blessed to be teamed up with Mark Ballas, who is is just an excellent human being, and all around good guy.

The chemistry between Mark and Bristol is fun to watch.

As for Sarah Palin, since you libs wanna talk politics, she is one of our nation's true leaders, and will be the next President of the United States.

Sarah has steadily taken on the most radical and corrupt president in our nation's history. She's the one with the guts to call him out for what he is, a radical Marxist who is destroying people's lives.

When the Republican Party has a win that will rival 1894 on next Tuesday night, most of those candidates will be people Sarah chose and supported.

No one else in the country has this kind of power.

Past that, let's enjoy watching all of the stars dance, and may the best dancer win.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why is this fat cow still there? Did Sarah buy her spot? What utter BS.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Having viewed all the shows I'm seen Bristol make steady improvement. While I don't see her wining I find her dancing pretty good for an amateur and her non-diva personality quite refreshing. The unkind remarks suggest that some of the "anonymous" need a personality transplant and a few deep breaths of fresh air. Bristol is fine and particularly so given her background when compared to the other performers.

    ReplyDelete
  23. u anti-bristol peeps suck!! she will win & her mom will be the president!! ha ha

    ReplyDelete
  24. just lika alice cooper said, bristol is a breath of fresh air!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bristol has tremendous courage to come to Hollywood to dance in front of two million people when she has never had any training in performance in anything. She is improving every week and her performance this week was flawless and fine. Her dance was even the featured dance yesterday. She has proven that she belongs there. In addition she has won the hearts of the other contestants and the staff because of her honesty and sincere concern for others.

Mark Ballas has said he has enjoyed this season as much or more than any other because Bristol is "fun, down to earth, and real". That is the way most Americans see her. Dance Bristol Dance!

    ReplyDelete
  26. U.S. voters are so polarized that they are cruelly hurting good dancers, like Audrina, in favor of an inferior dancer who happens to be the daughter of a politician they like. How can they feel good about that? Does residual damage not matter?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh My God!

    Listen to these clowns.

"Jennifer Grey" cannot have a brain in her head (witness that pathetic nose job). To keep her around at her age based on Patrick Swayze is far more pathetic than is keeping gorgeous and vibrant Bristol Palin around despite Sarah.

Get real you Jennifer Gray freaks!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Wake up people it is all about who Bristol is and not about her ability to dance. She has a charming personality and very little rythym it's time to send her packing back to Alaska! If her mom was not Sarah Palin she would have went home long time ago!

    ReplyDelete
  29. This is ridiculous. She is not a star, she is a kid of a vice presidential candidate!!! When will people stop putting politics into this. It has nothing to do with that, the fact is she cannot dance. If she is unable to let go and let her body take in the music, she will never be a dancer. She isn't even entertaining to watch. I am done with this show. And maybe you might want to look a little more into Jennifer Gray and all that she has been through!! So what she got a nose job, you make it sound like it's the end of the freaking world because someone didn't like a feature on their face and changed it. Thousands do it every year, how do you know she didn't have a deviated septum? or maybe sleep apnea? You don't so get off that high horse you road in on and keep on voting for someone that doesn't deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey whiny Bristol bashers- It's all about the votes she gets, and if you don't like how many votes Bristol gets, just wait till you see how many votes her mom helped rack up for conservatives across the country on Tuesday.
    Go Bristol!
    Go Sarah!
    America loves the Palins!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I really do not care anymore who wins DWTS. Audrina was my favorite to win and now she is out of the competition I have know interest to continue watching DWTS. Gifts are free in life and I hope the most deserving contestant wins.

    ReplyDelete
  32. When you qualify the pro-Bristol comments with words that indicate she's doing well considering her handicaps, I can't help but wonder if it's the special olympics ? The show is supposed to be judged on the dancing's merits. We're typical American idiots polluting the process with our political opinions and self-serving interpretations. If any of the rest of the world EVER watches American television, we look like idiots. Maybe that's what arrogance has done to us. Vote for the best dancer or change it to a popularity contest, it doesn't matter. Unfortunately it typifies what our values have become. Is it too hard to focus on the wars our children are fighting and what we're doing to insure our/their futures......

    ReplyDelete
  33. American idiots. WTF does politics have to do with Bristol's lack of dance skill?? Nothing!!! So we should give our US president, Barack Obama, another shot at being president in 2012 to see if he improves, right? I mean, this was his first time being president and all. I think we should re-elect him in 2012. Seriously, this country is ruined because of idiot adults rewarding idiot children for mediocrity. Former president George dubya is a perfect example of how a slacker can be a success all because pretentious retards voted for him.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Bristol is another Palin horror story. She's like her mother, ignoring her children and basking in unearned publicity. She's not a dancer, that's obvious. We know all those Tea Party characters are voting for her. How sad! Come on, Bristol, spend time with your son and don't be like your mother who couldn't make a snowball if she tried!! To the posting that says Americans love the Palins. Wake up! Sarah is an evil idiot who doesn't have a brain. Heaven help this country for acknowledging such a dingbat.

  35. bristol palin is a fake. all this cap about how innocent she is- well she had an out of wedlock marriage- now she's oooooh so innocent- what crap- her dancing sucks- get her off the show- it had made me turn off this stupid show rating grey so low compared to this twit.

  36. All this liberal losers who hates the Palin did not realized that they were the reason for their new found fame and fortune. Why do you think the show producer picked Bristol ? The controversy that you losers inject on Bristol attracts audience, how do you think I got started watching it, I heard of the critisism, and I got curious, now I got hook seeing her improved week after week after week. And she takes chances that the other ladies(who were professional entertainer in their own right) does not do. All their attack for the Palin is a result of envy and hate. Who do you think watches the Obama kids while their parents are partying at the White House, or out golfing or entertaining their elite friends at our our dollar. How many 19 years old girls is out working even taking chances, and abuse from people like you, to join the cast of DWTS to support her kid. Sure, she can just stay home and get hand out from her parents, then you guys will attack her even more. At least she took responsibility for her mistake, and went to work, whatever it is in order to provide for her child, she should be commended, and quite honestly doing superb, and that makes you miserable, and you guys is so much more fun to watch being depress over it. You need to get a job, and make your life useful, and be sure to feed your kids before you send them to school and don't expect the school to feed them. And please, have your food stamp ready when you reach the store check out, so you don't hold us up, I hate to be late to watch my DWTS and miss Bristol PALIN's dance.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The post at 7:48 pm is funny! How can one have an "out of wedlock marriage?"

    ReplyDelete
  38. Even so Bristol's dancing has improved, I still see a moose running, trying to avoid the trees.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The Pro Palin people have a way with words. Even Conservatives4Palin has a post up today-open thread- saying they are being blamed for Bristol's success on DWTS. You can bet that's where some of these Palin for president posterscome from. That's how they operate. It is their way or the highway. They slam the door on anyone who doesn't worship Palin.

    ReplyDelete
  40. America will crown Bristol Palin the winner of DWTS.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Who is voting for Bristol?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Bristol is not good as a dancer but she has
plenty of compnay on this show. Her mother and
she simply do not have the form that good dancer
people have nor the grace. This is rather a stupid
show in general but to each their own.

    ReplyDelete
  43. For those who have commented and are obvious supporters of SP, you don't seem to bothered by the fact that Bristol cannot dance. Yes, she improved slightly, but is nowhere near the standard of the remaining dancers. It's obvious this is political, why else would "conservatives4palin" have to go to such extremes to keep Bristol on the show???/ Heaven help us all in the US and the World if fanatics like Palin & her crew come to the White House. It has already been revealed that the TeaParty is comprised of white supremacists and extreme right wing factions, using the tea party to gain power. Unfortuantely, many of you who support Palin etc., seem to be very ignorant and uniformed about the facts of the current state of the US and how we got ourselves into this position. Certainly not because of Obama! Yes, you all seem to have extreme hatred for the man. One of the few Presidents that has actually tried to bring Unity through Diversity (much to the dismay of many), and actually has integrity. Before you start calling me names in your responses to this post, NO, I didn't actually vote for him, but his actions and intent say it all! If you really are deluded enough to think and believe that this country will be better with Palin in power, then you really are drunk on the KOOL AID! Bristol can't dance, she knows it and if she wins will only serve to show Palin etc., in their true colors and malicious intent.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Come on...it's a TV show, kids. Every team is working hard and trying to improve. Audriana didn't deserve to be eliminated..but she was. If it upsets you that others may have a different opinion than you, watch something else. Or listen to npr.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jennifer Gray or Brandy will win the trophy. Chill out everyone. Kudos to Bristol, who is showing amazing poise and grace in this situation. She is not ignoring her child. Millions of mothers go to work everyday to support their families and leave their children in the care of a babysitter or family member. Good for Bristol, for taking advantage of her circumstances and seizing this opportunity. Last year we saw the positive transformation in Erin Andrews life...obviously the show can be a wonderful growing experience for some people...why not Bristol. She's chosen to live life to the fullest and is taking risks. In regard to whether or not she is a star. Who on earth is a star anymore? It should be called Dancing With The Celebrities. Bristol did not ask to be in the limelight, but has become a "celebrity" for the time being. So be it. To all you haters -- get over yourselves. And, please remember...it's just a TV show. So many more important things in the world to talk and worry about.

  46. 9:03 and 10:48 great post! I just have to say I USED to be a Liberal then I grew up and i'm happier, imagine that. I just don't understand all this HATE over this young girl that took this opportunity, they called her! here's a hint people, vote for your favorite dancer that you feel does the best job Dancing, then hopefully it helps keep them in , It doesn't pay to be so hateful! And remember people Vote this tues NOVEMBER 2nd for a vote that really MATTERS!

    ReplyDelete
  47. My such nasty Liberal people, how does so much hate come so easily to you people.
You Libs really think you walk on water?
Bristol has done nothing to you, yet you hate her. Does being a bully ever get old?
You people act like 8 yr olds. with this silly hate machine, it makes you look small and petty.
Grow up, be a plus not a minus.
This Country could really use the break from Liberal, narrow minded, self centered, self serving, hateful people.
We will gladly take Palins, you hateful Libs can have your socialist bisexual Pres. all to yourselves.
Dance well and enjoy this time in your life Bristol, many, many Americans are rooting for you.
You are such a breath of fresh air!

  48. Bristol is can't dance, she is too scared.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Bristol Palin is ruining what used to be an enjoyable show to watch. She should have been gone BEFORE Florence Henderson. I don't know how much of it has to do with her mother but she CLEARLY has nothing to contribute to the show. Look at the judges votes and scoring. The public ie teen moms or politicians who have nothing to do are destroying the ratings of what used to be a fair and fun show to watch they are turning into trash.

  50. Dancing & Torture. Bristol Palin Forced to Dance with Stars? Ouch. Obama & GOP collaborated on torture? Egregious.
