Kathy Griffin: Bristol Palin's Weight Joke Draws Boos from Military

Kathy Griffin struck out with the troops when she decided to poke fun at Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin's weight. Griffin really didn't think it through whens he decided to make fun of Bristol Palin, noting that she's the "only" Dancing with the Stars Contest to ever GAIN weight while on the show.

Obviously, Griffin didn't do her research. If she would have, she would have noted that Bristol's older brother, Track, is in the military. Dissing a fellow member's family is a definite no-no. Especially a younger sister.

And all that being said, weight jokes are a low blow, even by anyone else's standards. Recently during a New Jersey gubernatorial election, the Democratic contender made jokes about the Republican candidates weight.

The Republican went on to win. He's Chris Christie. He's well loved, and some even say that he's the GOP member with the best chances of beating Barack Obama in a theoretical 2012 matchup.

Bristol Palin kept her comebacks short and sweet about the matter - saying that the crowd's response spoke big about the whole situation.

Christine O'Donnell for Dancing with the Stars?

Could Christine O'Donnell be on Dancing with the Stars? AOL's Popeater Blog seems to think so, and suggests that Tea Party GOP member Sarah Palin could be behind a push for ABC to cast the former Delaware senate hopeful.

Christine O'Donnell was so controversial, her primary win was so shocking and is believed to have been one shoe that fell that caused the GOP to lose the Senate.  The GOP did, however, gain control of the house during the 2010 mid-term elections.

O'Donnell is quirky, and is probably best known for her early 90's appearance at Bill Maher's show, in which she admitted to dabbling in witchcraft.

With Bristol Palin making it to the finale of Dancing with the Stars, a news story broke that Sarah Palin was lobbying to include O'Donnell in the next season.

Palin denies the story in her Thanksgiving message to her Facebook fans. She says 'And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.'

So there you have it.  Sarah Palin is not lobbying for Christine O'Donnell to be on Dancing with the Stars?

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010 3rd Place Finale

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars 2010 finish was in 3rd place, behind Kyle Massey and the champion Jennifer Grey.  Many feared that Palin would win Dancing with the Stars 2010, considering that she was able to successfully navigate in to the finale.

On the bottom two with Brandy last week, the country watched in awe as it was Brandy and not Bristol who was sent home.  We got to see Brandy dance one last time last night during the special 2 hour finale.

Now, everyone is looking forward to the next season and who ABC will be able to put in to the lineup.  Skating with the Stars has started, and it feels a bit dull and there are no political personalities in the lineup.

Next season, I would love to see Todd Palin or even Meghan McCain join the crew.  Chris Christie would also make a great contestant once he's out of office, and if he doesn't run for President.  Maybe one day we will also get to see Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, or perhaps even Megyn Kelly.

I'm proud of Bristol's 3rd place finish. I'm proud of her for making it in to the season finale.  Jennifer Grey winning Dancing with the Stars 2010 isn't a shocker at all to me.  After all, everyone knew it would happen from the time she danced her first dance.

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars 2010 finale 3rd place finish shows that there was no massive tea party conspiracy to take over ABC's DWTS.

Sarah Palin Proud Of Bristol Palin On Dancing With The Stars [DWTS]

Sarah Palin Proud Of Bristol Palin On Dancing with the Stars. Sarah Palin is a proud Mama Grizzly as her eldest daughter, Bristol Palin, has danced her way in to the Dancing with the Stars finale. Of course, as with anything the family tries to do, it's shrouded in controversy.

Brandy has been neck-and-neck with Jennifer Grey all season. She delivered her first PERFECT performance, and yet she was eliminated during the semi finals.

She was on the bottom two with Bristol Palin. Everyone was SHOCKED when Tom Bergeron said that it was Brandy and not Bristol Palin that was sent home.

Immediately, political conspiracy theories started to circulate. Was it the tea party? Was the whole thing rigged by ABC?

Well, like a proud "Mama Grizzly" Sarah Palin has "campaigned" for her daughter, sending out Tweets and FaceBook messages to her millions of followers urging them to vote for Bristol -along with the text/phone number to do so. Therefore, there's likely people voting who probably don't even watch the show!

Sarah Palin is proud of her daughter -as she should be. She's come so far in the competition. Although I don't know if it would be appropriate given the current political climate for Bristol to win, finishing in the top 3 is amazing.

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010 Angers Man Who Shoots TV

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010 Angers Man Who Shoots TV. I know a lot of people are ticked off about Bristol Palin's continued existence on Dancing with the Stars 2010. Anger, though usually goes only as far to go online and post excessive comments on blogs all over the internet expressing anger.

A Wisconsin man took it a step further, actually SHOOTING his TV set. His wife left and called authorities noting that her husband had a gun and was threatening to commit suicide.

The result was that the Sarah Palin hater had a 15 hour standoff with the police, which ultimately ended in his arrest for second degree reckless endangerment and domestic disorderly conduct.

He was mad that Bristol Palin, and not singer Brandy Norwood, would advance in to the finals next week.

Many suspect that there is some sort of "tea party conspiracy" placing Bristol in the ABC's show's finale.

I'm not so sure if the man who was mad about Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars 2010 results was exercising his second amendment rights in a way in which Sarah Palin would approve...

Bristol Palin Dancing WIth the Stars 2010. [A TEA PARTY CONSPIRACY?]

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars 2010 run - is it a tea party conspiracy? It seems as if politics has taken over every aspect of our lives. During the election season, our glossy gossip magazines were filled with stories about the exploits and quirkiness of certain politicians who were very polarizing. Christine O'Donnell in particular.

See a VIDEO RECAP of the Performances this week, HERE

Some of TLC's biggest ratings come from not Kate Plus 8 or Sister Wives, but Sarah Palin's Alaska. The reality show features the prominent Tea Party promoter and rumored 2012 potential candidate.

Then, there's Dancing with the Stars. Bristol Palin, daughter of the aforementioned Sarah Palin is on the show - and has managed to get into the finals despite having continually low performances.

So what is it?

Some say that this is a Tea Party conspiracy. They blame the "right-wingers" for allowing Bristol to advance so far.

In this show, it's the votes that count just as much as the performances. Obviously someone was voting for Bristol out there.

As some have mentioned about the "fairness" of the show - last season, Nicole Scherzinger won the season - and she delivered the best performances. However, she is a Pussycat Doll...she's a trained dancer. This season, Jennifer Grey has been touted as the winner before this even began...is that fair?

Is this a tea party conspiracy. Probably not. The Tea Party is not conspiring to take over Dancing with the Stars. Are Tea Partiers voting for Bristol? Most definitely - but that's no more of a conspiracy than Arizona Cardinal fans voting for Kurt Warner.

What do you think of Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010? Is it a Tea Party conspiracy to you?

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010.

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010. Bristol Palin has made it to the finals of Dancing with the Stars and it is AMAZING! The 2010 Dancing with the Stars lineup and results are shaping up and Bristol Palin, daughter of the former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin - and teen activist - is still in the running.

She could win this thing, and here's why - the power of the American voter.

To be honest, before this season I didn't watch Dancing with the Stars. This weekend, I'm hooked...and I vote for Bristol. All of my votes. I exhaust them - why? Because she's real and because she's trying.

However, I can see why people are upset. After all, she has been on the bottom of the leaderboard week after week. Still yet, it's the power of the American voter that's kept her in.

Brandy was voted off, despite her perfect scoring second dance and despite leading the leaderboard week after week.

What are your thoughts about Dancing with the Stars Bristol Palin.

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars.

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars. Bristol Palin's DWTS career remains controversial. Why is Bristol Palin still on Dancing with the Stars? In short, America loves her. She's a teen activist, the daughter of a political icon, and as far as dancing goes, she's improved.

Some argue that she hasn't improved, but I can't be critical of something I couldn't do myself very well. I give her props for going on national television week after week on one of the most watched shows - and performing amid lots and lots of criticism from the audience, viewers, and the public in general.

What's keeping Bristol in the game is voting. She scores among the lowest in the pack week after week, but somehow she's managed to stay in the game until the semifinals. I'm rooting for her to make it to the finals after this week.

On November 22, the finale of the show will air, and the first season of "Skating with the Stars" will premiere.

What are your thoughts about Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars? Are you going to watch Sarah Palin's Alaska this week?

'Dancing With The Stars 2010' Bristol Palin NOT Eliminated From DWTS 2010

Dancing with the Stars 2010 - Bristol Palin NOT eliminated from DWTS 2010. Dancing with the Stars 2010 continues, and it was not Bristol Palin who was voted off from the show. The DWTS elimination round ended last night, and it was Kurt Warner who went home. Going in to the night, we thought it would be our Girl Bristol going home.

Especially after the goofy girl admitted to not sending in her absentee ballot in Alaska.

However, America was forgiving of her failure to vote (and perhaps the vote counters in Alaska are happy, because it's one less ballot to scrutinize in their epic ballot counting dilemma) and voted to keep her on the show.

Kurt Warner offered a great instant dance, Dancing with the Stars viewers weren't forgiving. Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin will go to the semifinals, and I think that they will be the bottom two. I don't know who will be voted off next week, but I'm hoping it's not Bristol.

What are your thoughts on last night's elimination on Dancing with the Stars 2010 - see the elimination recap below.

Bristol Palin 'Dancing With The Stars 2010'

Bristol Palin, "Dancing with the Stars 2010" contestant is still in the running to become the next winner of DWTS. Last night, another shocking upset occurred and it was Rick Fox, not Bristol Palin or Kyle Massey who was eliminated from the show.

Rick Fox follows the upset of Audrina Patridge in an elimination that featured Audrina and Jennifer Grey.

This time, it was Rick Fox and Kyle Massey on the bottom. I'm really disappointed to see Rick Go after this week's wonderful performance. He seemed to be having a great time and seemed to be really improving.

Bristol Palin is improving as well. Some people are calling foul, as they think that she's holding on only because of her mother's political followers. However, the voting public is half of what keeps these individuals in the game or not.

What do you think about Bristol Palin on "Dancing with the Stars 2010"?

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010 week 7 is underway. So far, the Dancing with the Stars 2010 results have been kind to Bristol Palin. She's been in the bottom two twice, but has yet to be eliminated. Some say that her mother's political "oomph" is enough to keep her in the show, which is one part popularity contest another part actual talent.

Tonight is the 200th Dancing with the Stars episode, and as such she will be part of something really big.

The 200th episode of Dancing with the Stars during the 2010 season will bring back winners such as Kristi Yamaguchi and Apollo Ohno. In addition, Taylor Swift, and guest judges including Nick Lachey, Kelly Osbourne, and more will be present.

Perhaps there will be some distractions, and that could help Bristol out. Will Bristol Palin be voted off the show this week, or will it be Jennifer Grey, Kurt Warner, or Kyle Massey?

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars 2010

Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars was a big deal last night. Although she was on the bottom two for two consecutive weeks during the season, Bristol Palin avoided the bottom two last night and was told early in the competition that she was safe from elimination.

Reviews of Bristol Palin are mixed. There are many out there who don't think that she's an appropriate contestant on the show because it's her mother, not her, that is immensely popular.

However, Bristol Palin and dance partner Mark Ballas delivered a strong performance this week and avoided elimination altogether. If they keep up the momentum they should be able to hold on for a couple more weeks.

In the end, the shocking elimination results sent Audrina Patridge packing. Man! What a shocking end to last night's Dancing with the Stars!

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars NOT WHO WAS KICKED OFF

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Week 6 was one of her stronger performances, earning her a 23/30 - her highest score yet. Her hard work paid off, and she's safe from elimination and doesn't have to stress about being in the bottom for one more week.

She and Mark Ballas delivered their tango one more time. IF she keeps up this level of performance, the daughter of Sarah Palin may be able to hold in to the competition for a couple more weeks.

So for week six, Bristol Palin is safe and she will go on to the next round of dances. Jennifer Grey is not safe from elimination, and so that means she could be who goes home tonight

Obama Campaigns for Minnesota Democrats

President Obama ended a four day campaign swing today, campaigning for Minnesota Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton. Obama, former President Bill Clinton, as well as Sarah Palin have been three big names that have been campaigning ten days before the mid-term elections.

Sarah Palin called this the "election of our lifetime", although that term might come in to play again in 2012 should she decide to run. However, with the nation in the shape it's in right now, change has to be made.

Obama thinks that the democrats can make that change, and wants some more time to get the change that he promised during his campaign. According to Obama, a GOP lead in the government would undo all the 'progress' that has been made.

Below see a video of President Obama campaigning for the Minnesota Democrats.

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Results

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Results. Surprise! Bristol Palin, daughter of political icon Sarah Palin, has not been voted off Dancing with the Stars, at least not yet.  Palin made it through week five, despite being on the bottom two twice and also failing to wow the judges, securing her lowest score since the first week.

Honestly, seeing Bristol Palin in a monkey suit made me think “oh goodness, she’s a goner” however, that didn’t transpire this week, instead – on her birthday – Florence Henderson was eliminated.

Sad, huh? Not only was it her birthday, it was also TV night and Henderson and Corky Ballas danced to the theme of the Brady Bunch.

Bristol wore a monkey suit, stripped out of it, and danced to “Hey Hey We’re The Monkeys”

The leaderboard was topped by Brandy this week, with her score coming in 2 points above Jennifer Grey.  Brandy is quickly making headway and I can definitely see her in the top 3.

I am sorry to say that I can’t say the same about Bristol Palin. I like the girl, she seems sweet but one day the Dancing with the Stars results will be that Bristol Palin was eliminated.

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010 Scores and Results

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010 scores and results will be available soon, but we are going to keep you informed on what’s going on with Sarah Palin’s eldest daughter.

She and her dance partner Mark Ballas have had a rough couple of weeks, landing in the bottom two for two consecutive weeks.

Of course, Jennifer Grey, Audrina Patridge, and Brandy are the frontrunners in the competition…but will that change any time soon? Could Bristol and Mark wow us all? I guess we will find that out tonight!

Here’s a recap of Bristol Palin’s dances, scores, and results so far this season.

Week 1: Mama Told Me Not To Come score: 18/30

Week 2: Can’t Hurry Love score 22/30

Week 3: She did a foxtrot and scored 19/30. She was on the bottom two with Margaret Cho, and you can see her in the clip below:

Week 4: She did a “sexy Rumba” with Mark Ballas, and only managed to score 32/60 – OUCH! This once again landed her in the bottom two, but it was Jersey Shore ’s The Situation who went home.

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars is starting to wane. If Palin wants to stay on Dancing with the Stars she will need to step it up a bit. The daughter of Sarah Palin has been on the bottom two for the past two weeks and that's something she's got to turn around. If she's on the bottom next week, I am afraid she will go home.

The first week, Bristol Palin and dance partner Mark Ballas did a dance that was rather entertaining. The thing that I notice is that Palin seemed more excited the first week than she does now. It could be because she knows her days are numbered, or it could be because she doesn't like the criticism. Still yet, DWTS is hard...perhaps it's more demanding than she previously thought. After all, she's the mom to a very busy toddler.

In the end of Week 4, it was "The Situation" who went home, after David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton, and Margaret Cho. Will it be Bristol Palin's turn to head back to Alaska in week 5? Only time will tell. In the meantime here's a video recap of the week 4 elimination.

Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars Performance Week 4

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars performance in week 4 was week. Of course, Palin showed her "sexy" side by ripping off Mark Ballas's shirt...but the sexiness stopped there. Granted she did the dance far better than I ever will, but after seeing Jennifer Grey's performance this week there's no way on God's green earth that Bristol Palin will win this thing, unless the powers that be during the 2000 Presidential election handle the DWTS voting tallies.

Everyone is holding their breath, wondering when Palin will be sent home. She's not exactly detested by many - last season Kate Gosselin was absolutely HATED by the viewing audiences. This season, there's no really hated contestant...just some that are liked better than others.

Considering her background, young age, and that she's a single mom she's hanging in there quite well. There's just one thing I wonder about Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars...

Does Levi Johnston vote for her?

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Performance Video

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars video this week isn't as entertaining as it was in week's prior, and for the most part she seems to have been the only contestant to step backwards. Everyone can have bad weeks, but in a competition like Dancing with the Stars you can't really afford it.

Her judges scores were a 19/30...where most of the competitors got in the 20's. Margaret Cho is the only one who scored lower with an 18. However, Margaret had flair and pizazz and looked far more comfortable in her rainbow colored dress.

Are Bristol Palin's days numbered on Dancing with the Stars? Were people just "putting up with her" to see Sarah Palin come to the ABC hit series? Are you going to vote for her?

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars and Sarah Palin Booed Dominate DWTS Gossip

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars and Sarah Palin booed dominate the DWTS gossip circles. The 11th season of Dancing with the Stars includes our favorite zany conservative's eldest daughter as one of the contestants. Of course, there are going to be a host of people who don't like her being on the show - likely because of her mother. However, she's doing quite well and has a pretty strong fan base.

Now, I don't think that Bristol Palin will win Dancing with the Stars. However, I think she will make it pretty far in the competition. Florence Henderson, The Situation, Rick Fox, and Margaret Cho are still weaker than she is. She will have to watch out for Jennifer Grey, Brandy, Kyle Massey, and Kurt Warner.

The second week saw the elimination of Michael Bolton after receiving the low score of 12/30. The first week eliminated David Hasselhoff with a score of 15/30.

In other Dancing with the Stars news, there was a mini-scandal which suggested that the former Alaskan governor was booed by the crowd. However, as it turns out the crowd was booing because Jennifer and Derek weren't given 9's, they were given 8's.

Bristol Palin and Sarah Palin will continue to dominate the talk of the show until Bristol is eliminated.
