Christine O'Donnell: One Night Stand Gawker Story Chris Coons' Fault! I actually feel sorry for Christine O'Donnell. For some reason or another, despite the fact that she's trailing her opponent in the Delaware Senate race by double digit percentages, people won't leave her alone. Gawker.com posted a story titled "I had a one night stand with Christine O'Donnell." If you remember, O'Donnell has been noted to be an anti-masturbation and pro-abstinence advocate, so to think of her having a one night stand after changing in some college co-ed's bathroom into a ladybug costume, it sounds like a wacky story.
Not any more wacky than her dabbling in witchcraft, but on the same subject - this is her personal life. She's definitely not the first person to have a one night stand and she certainly won't be the last.
Of course, the O'Donnell campaign had to respond to this story. After all, it's similar to the Brett Favre scandal story in scope and so everyone on the internet has read it even if they aren't the least bit interested in politics.
The story goes to show what women go through to run for office. Even NOW, an organization that has endorsed Coons has denounced the story, condemning painting O'Donnell in the light as a loose woman.
Hey - she's not married. It's not against the law. Leave her alone! O'Donnell thinks that Coons is behind the whole thing...what do you think?
