Miss Venezuela 2010: Miss Miranda Vanessa Goncalvez. Last night was the crowning moment in the Miss Venezuela 2010 pageant. Vanessa Goncalvez, representing the state of Miranda, was crowned the champion of the pageant, which will then take her to represent the Latin American Country in the Miss Universe pageant next year. This year, the winner of the Miss Universe contest was Miss Mexico.
The runner up will represent Venezuela in the Miss World pageant. The runner up is actually a former Catholic nun in training.
