California Election Results 2010: Barbara Boxer vs Carly Fiorina Senate Race

California Election Results 2010: Barbara Boxer vs Carly Fiorina.  Barbara Boxer and Carly Fiorina are two of the hottest Senate candidates in the Country.  Barbara Boxer is the Democratic incumbent senator, who is facing opposition from one of the women that Sarah Palin has lovingly dubbed "Mama Grizzlies", Carly Fiorina.

Fiorina has a great resume, which includes not only surviving breast cancer but also running HP, one of the nation's biggest tech firms.

Barbara Boxer is expected to win the California senate seat, although the same was believed about Blanche Lincoln, the incumbent from Arkansas who lost to her opponent John Boozman.

So will California stay blue, or will Californians, like Arkansans, buck back and vote out the incumbent senator?

We will keep you informed of the California Election Results 2010.

  2. and Barbara Boxer did nothing to stop it!

  3. Barbra Boxer voted against the Constitution every chance she got-----

  4. Blame that crap on shareholders mate. Boxer would have done the same thing. You would have too

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ok, lets think about that comment. At the time she was not looking out for the best interest of California. She was looking out for HP. That move was brilliant if you look at if from HP prospective. That does not mean that she will outsource job's because she is elected. That just means that she will do what ever is in the best interest of the position she is currently holding.

  6. you're both idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Boxer and Fienstein are the reason HP outsourced the jobs. They are the one that made it more lucrative for the jobs to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  8. You saw that on a commercial. Blind sheep. Go read a book.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Every tech company outsources thousands of US jobs. What has Barbara Boxer done to stop any of them operating out of CA?

    ReplyDelete
  10. "Fiorina outsourced thousands of US jobs while running HP REMEMBER?" once again speaking without knowing. the outsourcing is because HP was losing millions and in order to save jobs and keep up with the profits that other computer companies who "outsource" their materials...HP only had one choice save more jobs by outsourcing or keep going and tank it for the rest. I will bet you enjoy your unemployment check, being on the dole with welfare and living off the fat of those who are educated provide for you because your comment is nothing more than rhetoric spewed out for a narcissistic woman who's only goal is to serve....HERSELF THAT IS!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yes Fiorina did outsource those jobs and so did every competing company equal to HP. If she hadn't HP would have lost 10 X more jobs. Don't tell me u fell 4 that bull! Oh I forgot you are a native Californian. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

    ReplyDelete
  12. I still can't get past Boxer writing all those bad checks then voting to block exposure on the extent of the "bad check scandal"

    ReplyDelete
  13. Barbara Boxer is a hypocrite. She carries a concealed weapon to "protect herself from the gun people."

    ReplyDelete
  14. The EPA, CARB and the unions AND trial lawyers are responsible for outsourced jobs!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Fiorina slept her way to the top of HP. She was never looking out for the good of HP... she was looking out for herself. Yes, outsourcing seemed like the best way for a corporation to improve the bottom line, but Fiorina also took way too many perks at the expense of the company and other employees who worked very hard for years, dedicating their lives to HP. She will do the same with California - at the end of the day, she does not care about anyone but herself.

  16. Barbara Boxer voted for partial birth abortion where the abortionist rips the baby out of the womb at seven months into the pregnancy.

They have to puncture the back of the baby's head with scissors, and murder it before they grab its feet and rip it out!!!

    THIS IS INFANTICIDE!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. So she out-sourced business. I bet it made HP investors very happy with the outcome and that is what we call "BUSINESS" in this country. Don't mistake it for politics. You can not out-source politics unless you elect a non-american for office. Oh yeah, We already did. Thank you Democrats for putting your big fat Obama foot in your mouth. Now we have a Republican house again. Everybody wave goodbye to Halloween face Pelosi.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow. None of you know what the hell you are talking about. You are all morons. Please move to Wyoming where you belong.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anyone think that just maybe unions could be the cause for outsourcing jobs?

    ReplyDelete
  20. We are a nation of idiots who choose to believe TV commercials, never taking the time to read the real story, find the truth.

We're not buying deodorant, here, folks. This is our future. This is it. If we don't take responsibility for what's going on in our bankrupt state, who will?

    ReplyDelete
  21. The "anonymous" above with the 10 line response who wrote at 10:30PM, should run for office. He/she would definitely have my vote. :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fiorina did what she had to do from a BUSINESS prospective. If you're going to be pissed about losing your jobs blame the labor unions and the minimum wage law for destroying the invisible hand. -___________-

    ReplyDelete
  23. Boxer and Feinstein need to go.........

    ReplyDelete
  24. Fiorina did not own or decide on the outsourcing of jobs idiots!!! She really had no say. the board of directors did. Barbera Boxer lied once again just like the checks she wrote.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Boxer is a joke and would do better owning a coffee shop. then she continue to have people pay for over priced food while she feeds them cr****p!

    ReplyDelete
  26. "blame fiorina" you're ignorant. go read a book. it's because of people like you that the country's messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Sure Fiorina outsourced jobs I worked at HP and I assure you the ones who were asked to leave were dead weight that couldnt be fired for incompetence because Califorinia has some of the worst leg on labor law. If you refuse to stay current in your field you need to go but people in large corporations tend to get lost due to their own fault.

    ReplyDelete
  28. At least Fiorina can balance a check book and to me that makes her a better candidate. Plus no one should ever have a 28 year reign in any form of goverment to much special interest issues. I hope we establish term limits on Congress as well

    ReplyDelete
  29. The only thing Boxer did in the whole 28 years was lie and steal from the tax payers!!!!!! Only a T.V. addicted fatass would vote without doing their homework!!! HP was not or ever was fiorina's fault. Investors and Boxer's crew allowed it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. jobs move out of an area because they can prove they will make more money elsewhere. Duh. And if you keep raising taxes everywhere else then the same thing will happen on the east coast that happened on the west coast. But you don't see that...do you?

    ReplyDelete
  31. How many Jobs did she keep in California by keeping HP solvent?

    ReplyDelete
  32. competitive advantage its not a new concept If you chose to stagnate your career's growth be prepared to lose your job. Its your fault when you chose to continue your education and work to advance your own self interest. Amazing my job has not been outsource but my past jobs have Why i chose to continue to grow. The concept of the 30 year gold watch is gone get over it I hate you boxer

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that it is absurd that you all refer to Barbara Boxer as just Boxer. We should be calling her Senator. Remember she worked hard to "earn" the title Senator.

    She is such a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh brilliant one, check your facts before sounding like a mentally inept propaganda plugger. Boxer didn't conceal the weapon, it was Feinstein, while trying to hinder our rights to do the same. Regardless, they're going to feed you all the BS they can. I'm waiting for the day that a debate constitutes the candidates plan to move forward if elected rather than pointing out short comings of their opponent (which means nothing more than they have yet to be caught doing the same). We vote for the lesser of evils rather than instituting a new means of parameters for which one can even run. The system is archaic, yet the cop-out is, well it's too far gone.... Convenient excuses!

    ReplyDelete
  35. people who BLAME unions are jealous morons who cannot stand that some people stand together to protect themselves from greedy corporate bastards. Wake up America! Without unions, there would be NO middle class! Without struggle, do you insanely believe that the rich would give up their money for the common good???? Who fought for 40 hour weeks, who worked for the minimum wage, unemployment, and medicare???? Unions, you morons!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well we screwed Again I see Boxer is projected to win but whats worse yet Is Brown again. You know if it is Brown Flush it down was the saying back when he was GOV. Watch your pocket book and and make sure we keep prop 13. I bet that will be his first target.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yes unions were good at one time but now I think they have too much power.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yes Florina did outsource thousands of jobs for the benefit of her company, but, the fact is, California is so far in debt that we need an ex CEO who knows how to make financial decisions. Instead of benefiting a company she could immensely benefit Cali. I would definitely give her another chance.

    To late though.. Boxer won.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think there is a logical argument that prop 13 stagnates new business growth. Why if property taxes are fixed then new business that comes into califorina has an automatic disadvantage because if there compitition only has to pay 50k and the new business has to pay 150k in property tax then it is clear to see. Then they have to send all these special incentives to get them here which is just more political special interest. I think prop 13 is an education killer and I vote red.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We do not live in the times when "The Jungle" was written. Unions need to go away there are enought labor laws on the books to protect the weak

    ReplyDelete
  41. So sick of all of you "know-it-alls" talking about Fiorina outsourcing jobs. I work at HP, and guess what? Every single company in our industry outsources jobs! Many companies that aren't in our industry outsource jobs. It is what it is.

As for the payout HP gave Fiorina...guess what all CEOs get that kind of package when they exit. She was no exception.

So, if that's all her enemies can dig up on her, they're clearly just reaching because they have nothing better to glob on to.

    ReplyDelete
  42. All you people complaining about Fiorian outsourcing jobs probably have no idea how difficult it is to be a business owner in California. Boxer and her tax happy crew constantly make it overly expensive to operate and compete. Its so bad that you have to incorporate in Nevada to see any tax breaks. No business owner wants to outsource but the alternative is to shut down completely. Firorina never raised my taxes nor did she make operating in this great state so unaffordable. Get rid of Boxer, shes a dinosaur.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would vote for either Boxer or Brown considering the mess our State is in and their party has been in control for so long. California idiots!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. California and its ignorant voters should just slide off into the Pacific and float away from this great nation. We won't miss your moronic, liberal bullshit!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I second that. I guess "stupid is, as stupid does." They deserve the mess they are going to get. Unemployment's bad now--just wait.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Carly not only outsourced jobs to Asia...she moved California jobs to Texas as part of her Compaq merger. I keep seeing where people say she ran HP....she ran alright...she ran it into the ground. She took a once great company and ruined it. She was a total failure as CEO and if she had any integrity she would have stepped down. I'm confident she would also be a total failure as a Senator. Carly...if you read this and want to talk to me I would love to tell you to your face what I and most Hewlett Packard share holder and employees think of you.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Boxer and Brown - is California so happy with the status quo, so content to be 'broken' that these same old names would be invited back to continue to deprive california of a chance to move ahead - feels like it - means the voters will have no one to blame but themselves for the continues mess in california

    ReplyDelete
  48. Fiorina needs to win. Boxer is a joke and brown is gay. Brown is like 95 and he looks retarded.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The Giants won the World Series, keeping my fingers cross that Fiorina makes a sweep as well! Awe how I will celebrate!!! Although I will have a bad taste in my mouth knowing Babbs will retire on funds I worked hard for and wonder how will I retire or will I die first. Hey if people lost their jobs at HP, well its better then corporations folding and everyone losing their jobs, not to mention the other effect a company of that magnitude would have on our economy if it sunk. We are only equal in our opportunities, entitlement has to be earned. I do not want to live in a nation of crooks and socialist, that's not my America. Thank God for big corporations, how would you Democrats get paid?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Both of them should volunteer to dontate kidneys - both of them

    ReplyDelete
  51. Richard....you are so wrong. Carly did not make any thing better for HP. She drove the stock into the ground. HP WAS NOT LOSING MONEY UNTIL CARLY STARTED MESSING WITH THE COMPANY. She she moved forward with the Compaq merger just to make a name for herself..she wanted to be linked to the largest high tech merger in history. It was a bad move that lost the company Millions. She sold the merger to major share holders by presenting data she knew was innacurate..she tried to make up for this bad decision by selling off company assets and outsourcing every job she could. However the stock still went in the toilet and stayed there until she was fired. So...Richard if you worked at HP you would know the entire story. If you just look at HP stock value from the time Carly was appointed until the time she was FIRED you would also know the entire story. CARLY WAS A TOTAL FAILURE AT HP AND AT LUCENT. SHE SHOULD HAVE FIRED HERSELF FOR POOR PERFORMANCE. THE HP BOARD SHOULD HAVE NEVER APPOINTED HER CEO AND IF THEY HAD IT TO DO OVER AGAIN I'M SURE THEY WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENT CHOICE.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Carly sent 30K USA HP jobs over seas to a HP company. Good grief HP is an international company jobs are shifted all the time.
There are 600K out sourced USA jobs, there are 1000K jobs that are outsourced to the USA, that's a net gain of 400K.
Want less outsourced USA jobs get rid of the unions and their strangle hold of corps.

  53. In times of tyranny and injustice when law oppresses the people the outlaw takes his place in history wake up california before it is to late boxer feinstien pelosi OBAMA and others are just trying to oppress the people so they can do whatever they want It is time we citizens become outlaws and vote them out.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Jesus, when did this country stop being about people? California is not a business and people in this state are doing far better than they like to say because they sure as hell are spending more money than they claim to be. We're not some third world country, and our politicians need to stop treating us that way. I'll say this, whoever gets into office, the people of this state lose because both sides are gonna screw the people. You think that a new government running California is going to change things. It's the same reason they voted for Obama. They though he was gonna change things. It's all a ploy. Our politicians are going to save themselves. If they really cared, they would invest their own money into what's broken. You think any of these politicians are gonna give up their own share of the pie to fix our broken education system? Don't fool yourselves people. Vote for whoever you want, we're all still gonna be screwed. If you think finding a job is going to be any easier tomorrow than it is today, you're laughable. I honestly don't know what the solution is, but I sure as hell know these candidates aren't it, and all this infighting between people in this country sure as hell ain't helping either.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Stupid people who think voting back in the trash that broke California in the 1st place.
Boxer should have been voted out after the check scandel

    ReplyDelete
  56. The irony is that Boxer is a large reason the state of California is so punishing to businesses (small, medium, and large). In the manner of a career politician, she smears her opponent (Fiorina) for having to make a strategic company decision to outsource during her tenure at HP, yet Boxer and left-wing California politicians have paved the current landscape that forces manufacturing jobs out of the state and country. Sad day if we have to endure another Boxer term.

    ReplyDelete
  57. why do the news sources post the headlines for tomorrow if only a slim percent of counties have actually reported anything?!

    ReplyDelete
  58. How Fing retarded are Californians? We just gave Boxer and moonbeam Brown another term. I hate this state. To much welfare trash living off my tax dollars.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Given the choice of outsourcing some jobs or the whole company closing its doors......hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  60. If we didn't have all that welfare trash in California, who would vote for the Dems? Oh yeah, the union sheep who can't go to the toilet without the union rep's advice.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I tried to read most of these, but couldn't because you're all idiots. Everyone here has a self serving opinion that they're trying to foster, just like Boxer and Fiorina. In the end, they're both the same person. Egomaniacs wanting to run your life.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You Californians are way out of touch with mainstream America. Just look at the results of today. The West Coast and North East (the most liberal (for heaven's sake, Mass. kept Barney Frank, are you kidding me) and out of touch with the rest of America. You can't even elect semi-conservative Fiorina and Whitman, yet the rest of normal America sees what's happening to our country and is voting for true conservatives. Wake up California, please. The sane one's in California better start speaking up.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm sick of political arguments... Who cares whose right we're screwed no matter what happens. Happy election day everybody.

    ReplyDelete
  64. You listed surviving breast cancer as part of her resume? That's why she's best suited to represent me? Ok then...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wow! I sure hope informed people from other countries aren't able to see this post! It is no wonder we are so frowned upon. Somebody really said, "Boxer and Brown's party has been in control for so long and the state is still a mess!" Wow, I swore the Govenator was republican, but apparently there are more political lies than I was aware of. Party allegiances aside, Government and business are two separate institutions. Outsourcing jobs is standard business practice these days. CEO's are obligated to the investors and companies well being, it's called Capitalism!! And the current state of California economics can not solely be blamed on Senator Boxer, there are these other little positions you may have heard of, governors, mayors, you know, stuff. Now none of you folks, young or old, were complaining for the last 25 or so years, when you either had decent jobs or when mommy and daddy had money to buy you Nintendos. If you're going to be so opinionated, please base it on more than smear campaign ads!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. That is the current problem with the lack of jobs and the economy. The government has done nothing to make it damaging to the corporations health to outsource the jobs. I don't pretend to know the answer, but I do know that the USA cannot afford to have more jobs go to India and China and Afghanistan and ..... But how to compete with the slave wages paid in these countries. Even with the cost of shipping stuff back to the US. Can they put a tariff on just US companies that manufacture stuff in foreign countries and then ship it back here. A large enough tariff to make it more cost effective to manufacture here?

  67. This site is a mirage. it is one of half a
dozen that promise election results and
fail to deliver while tonight the official
California site has collapsed under heavy traffic.
This means that a simple flow chart of the propositions etc, that should be dynamically
updated, does not exist. In 2010. In a critical
election. This is another symptom of the extent
to which the country and the state is broken,
and in the meantime a phony site like this one
that does not deliver what it promises is not
    at all appreciated.

  68. carly fired those workers because she knew you hypocrites would not pay $5000 FOR A COMPUTER.

  69. I worked for HP for 14 years (from 1995 – 2009). I now work for a different company in CA but I’ve never been more excited and thrilled to vote in a midterm election then now since I FINALLY get to tell that witch what I really think about her (I always felt powerless to truly voice my opinion about her in an open forum at HP). Although I survived the multiple layoffs that swept our site (in Vancouver, WA) during her reign, many of my close friends and colleagues did not. I saw the despair and shattered lives her policies had wrought first hand. No amount of humiliating defeat would be adequate recompense for the hopes and dreams of those who were caught in her net. The fact that she is not conceding only underscores the incredible and shameful hubris she has, which is encoded in her DNA. I’ve witnessed that many times at HP when she came to our site to “defend” her ruinous policies. I hope she can now crawl back to the pit of hell which spawned her (sorry, but few people get my goat more than Carly Fiorina). One last point to consider. When Carly was fired from the HP board, there were massive celebrations across the site. NO ONE, and I mean “NO ONE” was sorry to see her go. To me that alone speaks volumes. Thank God, the people of California had the sense to see her for what she truly is, self-serving and egotistical with delusions of grandeur.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Boxer and her fellow California senator are in Obama's and the DNC's hip pocket. They never do anything independently. They never go against party lines. They are mindless robots with no backbones.
Carly would have done what was best for California and the country even if it meant going against her party. I wish Californians were so mindless. I voted for 4 republicans, not enthusiastically, 2 democrats and several third party candidates. But because Californian's seem to vote for whoever is representing "their party", they are like sheep. Untill the majority becomes free thinkers voting for the best person regardless of party affiliation, we are screwed.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Boxer and Reid re-elected. How stupid can their constituencies be? Good God. NOW was the time to get these two jerks out of there!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Boxer and Brown again :(
California, you deserve both of 'em. I really hate this screwed up state.
Msg to Boxer and Brown, DO NOT RAISE MY TAXES!

    ReplyDelete
  73. everyone doesnt know whats going on. Companies outsource jobs to make billions more in profits, not because taxes here are too much. Corporate greed is whats ruining this country and world. Wake up everyone. People are in denial or just plain stupid!

    ReplyDelete
  74. All you fucks bitching about Boxer are hilarious. What happened to Arnold being the savior for the state? There have been more republicans in the Governor's mansion over the past 30 years than Democrats...so what's the problem?? For the idiot making the statement that Dems are on welfare, yeah right there are way more Republican welfare recipients than Democrats. Take a look at all the idiot hillbillies in the south.
