Now, citizens of Arizona will be able to purchase up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana for personal use every two weeks, and will be able to grow their own marijuana for medicinal purposes if they live more than 25 miles away from a dispensary.
The dispensaries are somewhat limited. Only 1 dispensary per 10 pharmacies is allowed. This will help the state regulate the measure, and will help ensure that illicit sales are kept to a minimum.
Now, there are many people in Arizona who can rest assured, knowing that Proposition 203 is available to them. They will be able to get the medication they need to make their lives more comfortable.
Despite that, medical marijuana use is only okayed in 15 states, Arizona included. Widespread measures to pass marijuana legalization across the state of California failed. This remains a controversial issue, and one we believe will become the end of 'prohibition' in our lifetime.
