UK Protests And Protesters Update: Students Protest In UK Over Tuition

UK Protesters update: Students protest in UK over tuition hikes. Students in the UK are protesting a 100% tuition update, and thousands are protesting the ruling party HQ. However, the building which houses the office of the ruling party also houses other offices, which are unrelated to the government.

Security is of utmost importance in any standoff or protest like this.

In the US, we are used to tuition increases, but I would have to say that a government mandated 100% tuition hike would garner massive protests in the US as well. However, I'm not sure that students would storm the White House.

That being said, it's not guaranteed that all students will get the increase. The government ruling only ALLOWS an up to 9,000 GBP increase (about $14,500) of tuition. This would bring tuition in the UK about in line with tuition in the US - if annual tuition is around $14,500.

What are your thoughts? We have a video below of the UK protests and protesters.
