Details: Chelsea Clinton Wedding Gown by Vera Wang (PHOTOS)

Chelsea Clinton wedding gown is going to be one of Vera Wang’s most talked about wedding dresses.  The Clinton gown was exquisite, and was fit for royalty. Chelsea looked radiant walking down the aisle, arm in arm with her father – former president Bill Clinton.

The dress had chiffon details, and a beaded waistline.  The strapless details and the veil went oh-so-nicely with Chelsea Clinton’s new svelte figure.  The skirt of the dress was as beautiful as a wedding cake, with lots of swirls and beautiful details.

Vera Wang is the go-to designer for weddings. In the movie “Bride Wars”, Kate Hudson had a great line, when she noticed she gained a little weight she said “You don’t alter Vera to fit you, you alter you to fit Vera!”  Any serious bride at least dreams of wearing one of this designer’s gowns.

So it’s no surprise that Chelsea side-stepped Oscar de la Renta in favor of Vera Wang.  The dress fit perfect with the whole wedding – from the exclusive Rhinebeck , NY estate all the way down to the Vegan wedding cake.

Photos of Chelsea Clinton’s wedding dress are on this post.  What do you think? Was it a wedding gown fit for a princess, or do you think she could have had something a bit more detailed?

PICTURES: Chelsea Clinton Wedding - Dress, Photos, and Honeymoon

Chelsea Clinton's wedding pictures are desired by many.  The Chelsea Clinton wedding pictures (photos) and her wedding dress and honeymoon are among the top things that people want to know about today. Why? Well, Mrs. Mezvinsky is like royalty to the American people. She's the daughter of one of the best loved presidents of our day, and the daughter of our current Secretary of State.  If America had a royal family, the Clintons would be them.

The 32 year old met Marc Mezvinsky while the two were studying at Stanford some 14 years ago.  Finally, they tied the knot.  Chelsea lost a lot of weight, and also had her father lose weight for the landmark event.

Chelsea wore a beautiful Vera Wang gown.  There was a controversy over whether or not she would wear a Vera Wang or an Oscar de la Renta.  However, she chose the queen of weddings and went with Vera, who also attended the wedding.

Hillary wore a fuchsia gown by Oscar de la Renta, which was befitting of her.  She did not look matronly or frumpy at all.  She was seen one day prior to the wedding wearing a green dress with bright blonde highlights in her hair.

There's no word on where Clinton and Mezvinsky plan on going for their honeymoon.  Perhaps they will choose something tropical and exotic.  Then again, they could choose something a little more intellectual, such as a European trip. They could roll the two together, visiting both Paris and the French Riviera if they were so inclined.

We sincerely wish this happy couple the best, and hope that they have a very fulfilling life together as husband and wife.

Chelsea Clinton Wedding: Dress, Engagement Ring, and Venue

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, is engaged to be married. Her wedding which will take place on July 31 is so hush-hush that one would think that it is a matter of national security.  She's getting married to an investment banker, and the guest list is set to include many prominent politicians.

Many are intrigued with the typical wedding topics, such as the dress, the engagement ring, and venue.  The wedding is for a couple from New York, so the wedding dress designer will be of the utmost importance to those in fashion circles.

There's no prenuptial press coverage and all that's available is pure speculation.  According to the New York times, the dress is rumored to be either by Oscar de la Renta or Vera Wang.  Personally, I hope she's wearing a Vera.  That designer is the queen of beautiful wedding gowns.

The venue is also something that is speculated.  The rumors center around the venue being at the Belvedere  Mansion in Staatsburg or the Astor Courts.  Perhaps the fact that the two estates have been taken swiftly off the market is a diversion.  I wouldn't be entirely shocked if the wedding is somewhere obscure that the press hasn't mentioned.

Attached to the post is a picture of the bride's engagement ring, from the Huffington Post.  You can see that this engagement ring is far larger than that of Bristol Palin.  However - Chelsea Clinton is marrying a Jewish banker. Expect no less than the best at this posh wedding.

Unfortunately, the press shy Chelsea Clinton won't have a big spread in a magazine prior to her wedding.  Hopefully there will be some photographs of her wedding released after it takes place.
