Rally To Restore Sanity: Father Guido Sarducci. Yesterday's Jon Stewart Rally to Restore Sanity included guests such as Father Guido Sarducci. This was one of the more entertaining personalities present at the rally, which included many stars such as Sheryl Crow, Mavis Staples, and Ozzy Osbourne. Father Guido Sarducci is a pseudo-priest played by comedian Don Novelli, who regularly appeared on Saturday Night Live during the 70's, and he appeared at the Rally to Restore Sanity/or Fear yesterday.
Sarducci asked for a "sign" over which religion was right- asking God to send an indication when he read off the "right" religion. No sign was given, which was supposed to show that there's no "right" way or "wrong" way to believe.
