Indonesia Volcano Eruption 2010. The Indonesia Volcano Eruption 2010 has happened again, and it's the worst eruption yet. Indonesia has been torn apart not only by a 10 foot tall tsunami, but two volcano eruptions as well.

The Volcano Eruption 2010 has displaced some 47,000 people, who have fled the area. The death toll is over 400 for the tsunami and first eruption, and the missing toll has dropped down below 200.

As this event is unfolding as we speak, it's possible that the death toll will grow. This is the type of activity that areas in the "Pacific Rim of Fire" are used to experiencing. Between volcanoes and earthquakes, the area in the Pacific ocean is rife for natural disasters.

Indonesia Tsunami 2010: Casualties, Damage, Death Toll The tsunami from Indonesia has wreaked massive devastation. In addition to the tsunami, the volcano eruption has also caused another element of destruction in that particular Pacific Rim nation.

The tsunami was caused by an offshore earthquake. The tsunami was 10 foot (3m) high, and hit about the same region that had been impacted by another tidal wave not too long ago.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the death toll has reached over 441, while the Christian Science Monitor reports that a baby has been found alive.

There are still hundreds missing, and thousands displaced. Those missing are feared washed out in to the sea.

Indonesia Tsunami 2010 Aftermath

Indonesia's tsunami 2010 aftermath is devastating. Hundreds are left dead, injured, and thousands are left homeless in what has become the worst natural disaster since the Haiti and Chile Earthquakes and the Pakistan flooding.

An off-shore earthquake spawned a 10 foot tall tsunami, which crashed onto the shores of Indonesia. Many that are still missing are feared to be swept to sea.

In the aftermath of this disaster, homelessness, disease, and more will run rampant. In addition to the deadly tsunami, there was also a volcano eruption in the same island country.
