Oregon Election 2010 results - the Oregon Governor's race between Chris Dudley, the GOP former Trail Blazers NBA star and Democratic Candidate John Kitzhaber is a tight one, with Kitzhaber enjoying a 1 point advantage over Dudley. The governor's race is one of the ones that the entire nation has their eye on. There have been several GOP turnovers in gubernatorial races in the nation.
One such race that had a GOP turnover was South Carolina, where Nikki Haley, the Tea Party backed candidate, replaced scandalous governor Mark Sanford.
However, Oregon did not experience a GOP turnover. John Kitzhaber the Democratic candidate won the seat, as the Portland area tipped the scale in his favor. It was the closest governor's race in the history of Oregon.
