UFO in China Closes Xiaoshan Airport - UFO Sighting

A UFO sighting at China's Xiaoshan airport closed the airport. The UFO in China is one of the most controversial 2010 UFO sightings yet. The sighting comes just days after a different sighting which was claimed to be nothing more than debris from an American intercontinental missile.

What does the UFO sighting mean? Although there are claims that military involvement is evident, the Russian, Chinese, and American governments are surprisingly tight lipped about the whole ordeal, which makes those who fear world-wide military issues a little nervous. It also excites those who at least believe in UFO's and extraterrestrials.

If the UFO is indeed from an alien source, could that mean that the world as we know it is going is going to change? Could it mean that instead of other nations that our biggest threat is actually located in another world?

There was another high profile UFO sighting in China in 2009, which was seen pretty close to a solar eclipse. Could it be that if there are extraterrestrials, that their first point of contact will be the Chinese?

It could just be that the Chinese UFO sighting was little more than just some space debris or a part of an intercontinental missile. It could be that it's part of a top secret military exercise or something else. Still yet, there are many looking to this strange event as an indication that there is something beyond our world that could be trying to make contact with us.

  1. it would make sense that as it's likely there are advanced, much older civilizations in the universe, they have a prime directive which hinges on us being unaware of their existence. therefore if there were a governmental disclosure, we could count on some societal disruption with open and massive alien visitation.
our so called leaders would be seriously upstaged and our economy would go thru crises, since our energy sector would be made obsolete by cleaner free energy like antigravity.
fundamentalist religion would be exposed as an irrational fraud, especially islam.
the muslim oil states would be totally screwed.
    -this can't happen soon enough!

    or debris

  3. barry why are you bringing religion into this?

  4. And Barry, why are you singling out Islam as being determined to be more of a fraud in a post alien contact world than Christianity for example? Further, why would the proof of other life in the universe negate religion and/or belief in God? Your comments make little sense and appear to be myopic, gratuitous bashing of one group's beliefs.

  5. yeah, how do you know, dumbass, that "religion would be exposed as an irrational fraud". Unless you come to your senses, i suspect you are going to feel really stupid in your eternity for making such a pretentious comment, when you fully realize your stupidity and ignorance, as if you knew anything. /Maybe we should follow your teaching, since you're so far advanced beyond the idiots who believe in a higher power based on faith and morality?

  6. It certainly would make religion look like a cargo cult if every god, angel, and miracle that came from the sky was just an alien trick.

It would also make believers feel foolish and likely to lash out when someone only mentions the subject, let alone questions their faith.

  7. That UFO is a military test or a false flag to observe public's response; so don't get carried away that things are going to change dramatically. The religious, spiritual dimension of man won't disappear, sorry Atheists.

  8. Suddenly miracles like walking on water and rising from the dead is... "the religious, spiritual dimension of man", which was never in debate.

Why replace the specifics of your religion with less laughable terms that nobody questioned?

  10. "Prime Directive" . . . Warp Factor 7, Engage.

  11. @Barry: I agree that these races might have a prime directive, but we cannot forget the possibility of omega directives, which state that whenever omega particles are detected, a captain must take any means to destroy them. Whenever these omega directives are in force, the prime directives are effectively rescinded.

  12. BARRY SPEAKS THE TRUTH. I have an antigravity generator in my basement, and my entire town has gone to hell because of it!!!

  13. Back off Roddenberryhounds, Star Wars is clearly the superior truth here. It totally explains the UFO, Islam, and Antigravity Energy. Lucas had all of this down in the 80's.

  20. Doesn't it make sense that all of our global religions are predicated on events that our ancestors could not understand in scientific terms, giving rise to a superior being....In fact they would be and are...Perhaps these events were and continue to be the result of extraterrestrial visitations..If so; it explains much about narratives in the Bible, Torah, Koran, ect.ect....It does not alter the validity of a superior being....You simply have to ask yourself about the genesis of these visitors...You see it all began somewhere and by an almighty power we spend out life debating, praying, and wondering about....Be happy the almighty has chosen to leave us in pursuit of him...After all, isn't that what we are all about?

  21. This is rediculous, i dont think advanced civilisation are coming to earth to start wars... they would be a lot more sensible than us money hungry humans.. perhaps their coming to STOP wars and money restricted lifestyles!

  22. they are a hostile race, we should not encourage contact, they live off our crude oil and want more

  23. wow, how anyone could put that down as debris or

  25. I often wonder how long it will take before the concept of life 'out there' coming for a visit 'down here' will gain a measure of acceptance.

That the universe is capable of hosting any number of alien civilizations is in little or no doubt. That life forms can build ships to carry either other living beings or their machines to other worlds is already a proven fact. We have two rovers on Mars and a number of human footprints on the moon to attest to this.

But as it stands right now, you are better off believing that an omnipotent spirit being created the universe in six days than even suggesting that we are not alone.

  26. Ill tell you why he brought religion into this you irrational fools. all major religions on this planet involve god creating earth and god creating man to live on earth. Science has already unlocked many answers that contradict/expose the bible. 1)evolution. 2) the fact that the bible goes from god building earth in seven days to adam biting an apple to people on earth. when in reality earth has been around for 4.6 billion years and we are incredibly new to the scene. It is incomprehensible to grasp the fact that we are 2010 years into the modern era and dinasoars roamed the earth for 165 million years... you cannot deny that the bible implies that god created this earth and humans and that is basically it. everything else out there is just background stuff. It implies that the earth, and humans, are the entire reason for the creation of the universe, and that we are the center of a fantastical story in which we live these mortal lives and if we are good we can live in paradise eternally when we die.. It is becoming quite clear to anyone who will open their mind, and let go of their fears, that there is much more to the universe then: god made earth, god made man, good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell. Its basically impossible to imagine that there is not other intelligent life in the universe. there are approx. 1 sextillion stars in the universe... our minds cannot even come close to grasping how many that really is. If/when intelligent life is discovered it will completely topple religion. How could you even try to argue against that? However, it would not at all contradict a creator to the universe and to all life in the universe... Finding intelligent life would just mean that all the religions of the world, the ones that imply that humans are the very purpose of life, are completely wrong.

  27. I think we've lost focus here. Are they or are they not violating the Prime Directive?

  30. Hangzhou's Chinese UFO?

This happened 4 days ago, and all I can find is "UFO" sightings by local unreputable papers. (not that they are unreputable, but this needs to be covered by a major source.) Only ABC news is the major outlet that I found covering this event:

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/ufo-china-closes-airport-prompts-investigation/story?id=11159531

And this is not just a simple reflection of light! How insulting to discredit the eyewitnesses like that. But honestly, if I hadn't seen the widely release film of it already, I would have completely swallowed that explanation.

People, go to youtube. there are at least 3 video of these trails. They are clear as day TRAILS, not a silly reflection.

I don't think it's UFO - as cool as thatd be - except in the case of it just meaning in its boring translation and "unidentified" flying object. Probably not an alien spacecraft. Looks like a missle to me, what I've seen from local testing. Or something manmade. But I'm no expert, I have no aviation training and I've never been in the military so that's just a nobody's guess.

And that's malarkey it being the USA doing testing over China. What kind of propaganda is that? If anything, wouldn't it be...I don't know...CHINA doing testing over China? Like the US could do unknown military testing in a foreign country and the Chinese government and military would be completely unaware. As if they wouldn't be part of it, or cooperating for it. Why do they have to insult people's intelligence?

Either way, why did it ground planes over an hour? why would the airport be threatened? Don't they have altitude ratings on their radars, so wouldn't they have known if it were tens of thousands of feet out of range of their planes taking off and landing?

Keep your eyes out for news from the Xioshan Airport in China. Its in the Zhejiang Province, in the province's captial city of Hangzhou.

Follow up please! My curiosity is piqued.

  31. Now (just in the last 24 hours!) there was an "Australian UFO" seen at a public show, which was covered by one of their news outlets. Reporter Annie Sanson reports for Nationwide News in Oz:
    http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/2010/07/17/164731_ntnews.html

No pictures, but several eyewitnesses. What's going on people? Mass Asian secret experiments...conspiracy theories...secret space shuttle programs...ICBMs...UFOs?

This same reporter wrote an article saying "We're being invaded" a few months ago on April 29, 2010 after a week long of unusual lights and craft were spotted by residents:
    http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/2010/04/29/143411_ntnews.html
The towns in Australia where these past sightings occurred were in Darwin's rural area:
    Coolalinga
    Acacia Hills
    Howard Springs
and a place called Humpty Doo (I'm not making this up...Assies, go figure)

This same reporter Annie Sanson even interviewed an astronomer named Geoff Carr to get a quote...and of course his official answer was he thinks they're all weather phenomena.
    Hmmm, okkk...

Anybody have any info on these?? Wondering if I should be worried...
