September 11 911 Memorial Museum and Garden (Photos, Video)

A September 11 (9/11) Memorial Museum and Garden is planned at Ground Zero. This is an important place in New York City, the city touched so deeply by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  This year, the location is in the center of a media frenzy because there is an Islamic Community Center planned 300 yards from the memorial.

The 9/11 Mosque has been criticized as insensitive.  Obama has spoken out, saying that it is the constitutional right of the group planning the project to build there. However, whenever people visit the September 11 Memorial Museum, they will be faced with a large, state-of-the-art, Islamic Community center 300 yards.

A video of the Freedom Tower can be found here.

The Museum will be full of informative information from the day, and also include some of the wreckage.  It's important not to forget this day.  Visit the official site of the September 11 Memorial Museum and Garden for more details on this important American landmark.
