A Todd Beamer Memorial Video and Inspirational 911 Quotes

A Todd Beamer memorial video and inspirational quotes is something that all 911 remembrance ceremonies should consider.  Todd Beamer said what was perhaps the most inspirational thing that was uttered on September 11, 2001.

A flight 93 memorial can be found here.

Todd Beamer was the Flight 93 passenger whose last words are quoted "Are you guys ready? Let's roll!" before courageously storming the terrorists on flight 93.

That is perhaps the most inspirational quotes of 911.  This just showcases that Americans pull together during times of trials and tribulations.  Let's never forget this inspirational quote from Todd Beamer, Flight 93 passenger.

September 11 911 Memorial Museum and Garden (Photos, Video)

A September 11 (9/11) Memorial Museum and Garden is planned at Ground Zero. This is an important place in New York City, the city touched so deeply by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  This year, the location is in the center of a media frenzy because there is an Islamic Community Center planned 300 yards from the memorial.

The 9/11 Mosque has been criticized as insensitive.  Obama has spoken out, saying that it is the constitutional right of the group planning the project to build there. However, whenever people visit the September 11 Memorial Museum, they will be faced with a large, state-of-the-art, Islamic Community center 300 yards.

A video of the Freedom Tower can be found here.

The Museum will be full of informative information from the day, and also include some of the wreckage.  It's important not to forget this day.  Visit the official site of the September 11 Memorial Museum and Garden for more details on this important American landmark.

Twin Towers and Ground Zero (VIDEO)

Twin Towers video helps us remember that fateful day in 2001 where thousands of innocent Americans lost their lives.  In an attack that is only comparable to Pearl Harbor, the landscape of America changed forever.

This is the most touching Twin Towers video that I have been able to find.  The music, the message, and the images all mesh together.  If you don't feel the tears choke up in your throat, or a heaviness in your heart then watch it again and really place yourself in those people's shoes.

Please leave your memorial for the Twin Towers video and victims below. This was a horrific day in the history of the US, and one that we should never forget.  This video of the Twin Towers should be showcased all over the world.

911 Flight 93 Photos, Phone Calls, and Transcripts (VIDEO)

At 911, Flight 93 photos, phone calls, and transcripts are desired by people who want to remember the horrific day. Although 911 memorials sometimes seem to center on the Twin Towers, Flight 93 is equally as harrowing.

A quote from a flight 93 passenger was "Let's Roll" - you can find out who said that here.  This was the individual credited with organizing passengers, overtaking the terrorist, and crashing the plane.  This way, the intended target was not affected and the total lost lives were minimized.

See below for a video over the Flight 93 phone calls.

9/11 Photo & Memorials Are Available: September 11 Remembered

9/11 photos and memorials are available, as we remember the attacks on September 11.  There aren't many Americans who forgot exactly where they were when they heard the news.  Two planes had flown in to the World Trade Center.  Another plane flew into the Pentagon.

Later in the day, a plane crashed in Pennsylvania in a remote area.  Presumably, passengers overtook the assailants in a heroic move to save whatever the plane's destination was.

As we remember the tragedy that was 9/11, people want to see photos. Photos that showcase what happen, so that September 11 is always remembered.

American Ground Zero Mosque Controversy Continues

The "Ground Zero" mosque, aka Park51 aka "9/11 Mosque" remain extremely controversial and potentially divisive for a group of people who have a hard time getting along as it is. Muslims within the New York community are faced each day with animosity from those who cannot get over the heinous 9/11 attacks.

Therefore, it's not surprising at all that when plans became known to erect an Islamic community center 300 yards from the Ground Zero memorial, it felt like a slap in the face to New York.

While the constitutional right exists to build the mosque in that location, many think that it is inappropriate.

A recent poll said that 67% of people thought that the mosque should be moved to a different location. In addition, one out of five New Yorkers polled admitted to having animosity against Muslims.

A recent mosque fire in Tennessee goes to show that the tensions are building and people are starting to act out.

What is going to happen to the Ground Zero mosque? Should it be moved, or should the group stand their ground?

The Ground Zero 911 Mosque: Does Having the Right Make it Right?

The 9/11 Ground Zero Mosque in Manhattan is creating a political stir. Obama recently said that the group planning on building the large mosque has every right to do so. However, in doing so there is a question: does having the right make it right?

There was a time when America was about common good and decency. There were no fears of offending certain groups, and we lived more by the “golden rule” than by trying to navigate through laws in order to get around social injustices.

If the group building the mosque lived by the “golden rule” this would be a non-issue. They would simply find another site in New York City for their building. It’s that simple. On the flip side, if those against the building were living by such rule, they wouldn’t stereotype people who practice Islam.

And if the leadership in America really truly cared about the common good, discussion would be over the softer social side of the issue instead of the laws written on paper. Sure, the group has the Constitutional right to build a mosque and the government cannot do anything about it because of separation of church and state…but does that make it right?
