Art Robinson Argues With Rachel Maddow at MSNBC Interview

Art Robinson argues with Rachel Maddow at MSNBC interview. Art Robinson is a GOP US House of Representatives hopeful for the state of Oregon. He agreed to be interviewed by MSNBC which is strange because they are a staunchly liberal network. Instead of focusing on the issues at hand, Art Robinson went on a tirade about his opponent, Peter DeFazio the incumbent.

DeFazio won his seat with an astounding 82% of the vote in 2008. Art Robinson is definitely someone different, but many don't think he will win the election.

Out of all the questions that Rachel Maddow likely had ready, she only got through two of them. Last week, DeFazio was on the same show and had a much more positive response.

You can view Art Robinson's video of his interview by clicking here.

  1. Not that very many people watch Maddow, but one should wonder how she should expect her guest to sit there and be quiet while she tosses out quotations without context, some 15 years old. All he was asking of her to ask one pertinent question regarding the campaign issues.

  2. Lee,

The "context" was that these were Robinson's own writings, from his self-edited newsletter, that he publishes himself, and is still available through his own web site that he administers. If he no longer holds to those beliefs, why does he still espouse them on his web site? These words were not second-hand through a middle-man. They were his very own.

The simple fact is that he's a fringe "scientist" who is held in very little regard for his beliefs, and is probably quite defensive about them as a result. As such, instead of taking 5 seconds to say, "I no longer hold to those beliefs," and move on with the interview, he chose instead to behave like a belligerent fool.
