Jon Stewart rally update & Obama on "The Daily Show." You see, Jon Stewart has had a good few weeks. He was catapulted into the limelight for creating the "Restoring Sanity" rally this weekend. In addition, he was further catapulted into the spotlight when Rick Sanchez called him a bigot, and then went on an anti-Jew rant. (Stewart - yeah, he's Jewish.)This weekend, Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert are two unlikely political advocates, as they are hosting the Restoring Sanity and March to Keep Fear Alive rallies at the National Mall in DC.
In addition to the recent fame, Stewart is getting another slam-dunk as Obama is going to be on the Daily Show. The Daily Show is broadcasting from DC in preparation from the Rally, and Obama will be on the show tomorrow night at 11:00 EDT.
