2012 Presidential Election: Potential GOP Candidates. The 2010 midterm elections aren't all over in every jurisdiction, yet we're already looking towards further "changes" that could be coming in 2012. It's no secret that the GOP took the House of Representatives and made great gains in the Senate and across many state Gubernatorial races, but that may not be enough for those with a Republican agenda.


In 2012, the GOP & Tea Partiers will be out for blood. Now, there have been a few candidates that we've joked about running for president, including Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Donald Trump. However, now it's time to take a look at true candidates who stand a chance at winning the election (calm down - Sarah Palin is on this list.)


We will discuss candidates in detail in separate posts. However, here are some names being thrown around as potential 2012 GOP contenders for the presidential election: Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Haley Barbour, and Ron Paul are among the many other names tossed around.


Preliminary CNN polls indicate that it's former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee that stands to win against President Obama in an election. Stay tuned as we update you with more information on the 2012 presidential election and hypothetical candidates on the GOP Ticket.
