[AVAILABLE?] Oregon Election Results 2010 [GOVERNOR]

Oregon election results 2010 available? Former Trail Blazers NBA player Chris Dudley is going head to head with John Kitzhaber in what has become a race that is too close to call.  Dudley is on the GOP ticket, and Kitzhaber is on the Democratic ticket.

Peter DeFazio defeated Art Robinson, a well financed Tea Party backed candidate in one Congressional race.  This was no small feat, although Art Robinson once had a very odd rant while on a news show that was really quite humorous looking back.  You can see that HERE.

For the most part, Oregon stayed blue, but right now it's not certain whether or not the governor will fall in to GOP hands or not.

Below you can see a video about the Oregon elections, and the results that are available. What are your thoughts?

  1. I sure hope Dudley wins the seat. I was so disappointed that Robinson didn't defeat DeFazio. I'm so very tired of all the lock step people. Oregon is bankrup.

  3. Looking at a red / blue political map of Oregon it is very evident that this State is run by city dwellers of Western Oregon who harbor an army of Professional Social Service recipients who would never dream of voting against receiving more beanies. Politicians that exploit others to gain power and Governmental Control, Like California we are being led by Progressives into reams of bureaucratic red tape regulation and bankruptcy.. Washington State is in the same boat. The eastern side of both States have no conservative voice in Washington DC.. Land wise both States are painted mostly red while the small west of each state is blue (Progressive) and dictate both federal agenda and State Agenda.. We need to join with Eastern Washington in separating ourselves from the Western halves of our respective states and join together in a new state that better represents the Conservative views of the hard working people who mostly work in supplying ourselves and the world with food and other products based in agriculture, who are not afraid to take responsibility for ourselves and our decisions in life and the consequence there of.. A group who helps others but prides itself in independence from governmental control and dictates, who are more ashamed of seeking public hand outs if not absolutely needed. A people who tend to mind ones own business and believes in Freedom and the Constitution far more than those dictating policy from the Western side of the Cascade Mountains.

  4. I can't stand the fact that ole Pete is going back. That guy is a socialist through and through. Sure wish Oregonians would pull their heads out of their rear ends and realize that we are broke and can't afford all of this big spending and social welfare programs.

I'm completely sick about it. We really need to go back to making the finger blue to show that you voted. This vote by mail is the biggest opportunity for fraud and lying that it is sickening.

Overall I am extremely disappointed with Oregon and am contemplating moving now. If Kitzhaber wins, I will definitely move. We already have some of the highest tax rates in the country and this guy not only wants to raise income taxes but he wants to implement a sales tax.

    I will be gone.

  5. dudley is running for an office not a seat. voter ignorance is why the republicans can get people to vote against their own interests

  6. so now eastern washington is a conservative stronghold?
your whole economy is a result of federal government largesse. to this day few crops would be grown there without subsidized water.read your history

  7. a socialist cares more about his community for the benefit of all than he cares whether he can buy another vacation home in Sandpoint or Bend. You have a problem with that?
BTW the federal government defines small b usiness as one with fewer than 200 employees. for most of us in the high desert that guy is the richest guy in town. do you think his life will change if hr has to pay a few more taxes?
in the 1960's the tax rate for incomes above 200k was 90% and economic growth roared. tax rates have little to do with anything.
BTW that is a marginal rate ONLY for the income above 250k,rich fo;k pay the same rates we do on the first 50k,essentially ZERO

  8. Yeah, looking at that red/blue map, it's time for the State of Jefferson (which has been a topic of discussion for 60 years). Cut the NW 1/4 of the state off and let them drift out to sea, if they want to. We;re sick of them. Then the rest of the state could live normal lives. We could send two sane Senators to Washington and get some representation for someone besides the wacko left, as well as having a state legislature that is accountable to the people and doesn't keep defending the unionized state workers' high salaries, benefits and pensions which are way above the private sector. It is the tendency of every government to create a privileged class at the expense of the common people. It must be a constant process to weed it out. So, start south of Eugene and go to the Washington line and whack 'em off. Let the libs pay for their bankrupt PERS, if they want it. Here's to the new State of Jefferson!

  9. Those of you who are talking about moving if Kitzhaber wins... I'll help you pack. Where are you planning on going? Also, it is people, not land that counts in elections. The people are in the western half of Oregon and Washington. If the eastern halfs want to secede...well go for it. Good luck on making it with the tax base you'll have. Who is going to educate your children? I'd be happy if all of the red states, and all of the red halfs of states like Oregon decided to secede. I wouldn't be fighting another civil war. But, interestingly...most of the social welfare money goes to the red areas, and comes from tghe blue areas...good luck when you have to take care of your own and really become a third world nation.

  10. The State of Jefferson wouldn't give eastern Oregon a voice, just Southern Oregon. How could a new eastern Oregon state function financially anyway? You need the rest of that population.

  11. Dudley doesn't know how to do anything, he doesn't even back up things he said that he got called out on. If you think waitresses are over paid then stick with it don't say you didn't say that when it's on film. Look what's happened to California when they elected a public entertainment icon. Bankrupt and the highest state income tax ever

  12. Why would Oregon want to go back in time and vote for Kitzhaber? His health care crap was just that my Mother retired at 62 made $6.00 a month too much on Social Security to get Oregon Health Care she had a medical emergency we paid for it all...also how can they say he has won when he is behind? is this a fixed Election?

  13. Kitzhaber's smear campaign was designed to make people believe that Dudley made statements in an unfavorable context... if voters don't care enough to verify allegations made by the opposing candidates, we are doomed by their lack of initiative in learning the TRUTH before they vote. Dudley's comments about wages & waitresses was in reference to tip credits for employers, NOT lower wages for servers. Doesn't anyone remember the mess Kitzhaber left us in last time?? He acted solely for the benefit of HIS agenda, regardless of what the people of Oregon wanted. If he wins, God help us all...

  14. Eastern Oregon would do just fine without the Western half of the State dictating policy. Don't even go there on Federal subsidies. Do you really want to compare what has been spent in Eastern Oregon verses the Willamette Valley in federal Binnie's.

You will never convince me that Salem has any real concerns for Eastern Oregon other than our paid up taxes and our silence......

  15. why should anyone else in the state vote when it is Multnomah county that ends up deciding for all of Oregon even if we don't like who they pick

  16. Eastern Oregon would do just fine on its own.
We could actually spend our taxes on what we see as our needs not what the Willamette Valley thinks we need. And let them bury their garbage in their valley. Let them hunt their own wildlife. Let them indoctrinate another whole generation into being professional moochers on Social Services instead of putting limits and expectations on those able to work. Let them sing Kum-By-Ya while they go deeper in debt with their fancy Socialist Programs.

  17. Nice to see even with the Tea Party and other right wing extremists backing Robinson he still lost. Maybe there is still hope we can save our free and democratic America.
