Connecticut Governor’s Race 2010 Results - Tom Foley Concedes to Dan Malloy

Connecticut Governor's race results - Tom Foley concedes to Dan Malloy, which means that one less Governor's seat will turn over to the GOP during the 2010 Mid Term election. The race has been too close to call, but Foley notes that the opposition won, and a recount would not change anything for the better.

The Connecticut polling was a clusterflub, with officials ordering too few ballots, photocopying the ones they had, and then locating uncounted ballots after a winner was declared.

Malloy was initially declared the winner, and it was taken back shortly thereafter. Then, there was mass controversy and many were left wondering who the next governor would be. Many were even curious as to whether or not there would be a massive scandal sort of like the 2000 presidential election in Florida.

[WA] Washington State 2010 Election Results [SENATE RACE]

Washington State 2010 election results are available, and the Washington State results point out that Murray is keeping a lead over Rossi in what has become one of the closest races in the nation. Given that all ballots in the state are mail-in it could be a while before the true results are available.

The election results in the state of Washington show that the incumbent Patty Murray has a slight lead over Dino Rossi, the GOP challenger. This is one of those Senate races that everyone's keeping an eye on as the GOP has narrowed the Democratic majority in the Senate AND has successfully taken over the House of Representatives.

Obama's agenda will be harder to push through the ranks now that the GOP holds the House and has narrowed the lead in the senate. Electing Dino Rossi to represent Washington would further challenge Obama's agenda.

[AVAILABLE?] Oregon Election Results 2010 [GOVERNOR]

Oregon election results 2010 available? Former Trail Blazers NBA player Chris Dudley is going head to head with John Kitzhaber in what has become a race that is too close to call.  Dudley is on the GOP ticket, and Kitzhaber is on the Democratic ticket.


Peter DeFazio defeated Art Robinson, a well financed Tea Party backed candidate in one Congressional race.  This was no small feat, although Art Robinson once had a very odd rant while on a news show that was really quite humorous looking back.  You can see that HERE.


For the most part, Oregon stayed blue, but right now it's not certain whether or not the governor will fall in to GOP hands or not.

Exit Polls 2010

Exit polls 2010 are rolling in. The exit polls are the polls that are released to subscribers and networks, which are used to project the winners. Now, election results aren't official until the loser concedes to the winner or the election commission in that jurisdiction calls the race.

So far, the exit polls are showing that the GOP will take control of the House. In addition, the Senate is expected to stay Democratic but that could change as well.

Mid-Term Election Results 2010

Mid-Term Election Results 2010 are coming in, and it's slated to be a huge success.  The 2010 mid-term elections are a hot topic and there are some winners to report.  Here is a non-exhaustive list of some of those who have won their races so far:

Governor Manchin - West Virginia senate seat  (democrat) 
John Boozman - Arkansas Senate Seat (republican) 
Mike Kelly - Pennsylvania Congressional seat (GOP win over incumbent Democrat!)
Marco Rubio - Florida Senate Seat (republican)
Chris Coons - Delaware Senate Seat (democrat)
Barney Frank wins 16th House term (Democrat)
Rand Paul - Kentucky Senate Race (republican)
Ron Johnson - Wisconsin Senate Race (Republican - beat Russ Feingold, despite massive campaigning on behalf of the President and the White House)

Latest Election Results 2010

Latest election results 2010 are available, and it's been a great night so far.  There have been a few key races called, and some shocking results and some anticipated results.  For instance, West Virginia has been called and it is the popular Governor Manchin that is heading to fill the void left by the late Robert Byrd. 


In addition, Christine O'Donnell lost Delaware, but that wasn't much of a surprise.  Florida's results where Marco Rubio won his race over Charlie Crist and Kendrick Meek wasn't much of a surprise, either.  Alvin Greene lost South Carolina - but no one thought that Greene, who won the nomination despite not having a job and never having been heard of before, would win. 


Blanche Lincoln lost her seat in the Senate for the state of Arkansas.  Mike Lee beat Sam Granato in Utah, turning Utah Red.  In addition, in Ohio Rob Portman beat Lee Fisher. 


These are just a few of the latest election results 2010, but we will keep you informed as they roll out. 

California Elections 2010

California elections 2010; there are many elections taking place in California tonight that are garnering a lot of attention. The California Elections 2010 include not only prop 19 but also prop 23, an expensive gubernatorial race, and a pivotal senate race.

The implications in California are arguably higher than any other state in the nation. For instance, if Prop 19 passes, then the road will be paved for widespread legalization of marijuana. If prop 23 passes, then a push against the state's version of the cap and trade bill will suggest that cap and trade is not good for the broad economy.

Barbara Boxer and Carly Fiorina are in a fierce Senate battle. If Fiorina wins, it will indicate a shift against incumbents.

Colorado Senate Race 2010: Buck vs. Bennet Results Close. Colorado's Senate race between incumbent Democrat Michael Bennet and GOP challenger Ken Buck is one of the closest races in the country. Keeping the Colorado Senate seat blue is important to the Democrats who want to keep the power in the Senate.

It's expected that the Senate will stay in control of the Democrats, although the House is expected to shift power to the Republicans.

Right now, an October 30 poll sits Buck at 50% of the vote with Bennet at 46%, with a 3% margin of error. This is tight, and the race could go either way.

Colorado isn't only one of the nation's tightest races, it's also one of the most expensive. Ringing in at $30 million of outside funding fueling the ads and the campaigns, many voters are disgusted with Bennet and Buck.

We will see tomorrow who ends up on top...Buck or Bennet.
