'Dancing With The Stars 2010' Bristol Palin NOT Eliminated From DWTS 2010

Dancing with the Stars 2010 - Bristol Palin NOT eliminated from DWTS 2010. Dancing with the Stars 2010 continues, and it was not Bristol Palin who was voted off from the show. The DWTS elimination round ended last night, and it was Kurt Warner who went home. Going in to the night, we thought it would be our Girl Bristol going home.

Especially after the goofy girl admitted to not sending in her absentee ballot in Alaska.

However, America was forgiving of her failure to vote (and perhaps the vote counters in Alaska are happy, because it's one less ballot to scrutinize in their epic ballot counting dilemma) and voted to keep her on the show.

Kurt Warner offered a great instant dance, Dancing with the Stars viewers weren't forgiving. Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin will go to the semifinals, and I think that they will be the bottom two. I don't know who will be voted off next week, but I'm hoping it's not Bristol.

What are your thoughts on last night's elimination on Dancing with the Stars 2010 - see the elimination recap below.

  1. Bristol Palin is terrible and should have been voted off a few weeks ago. The only reason she's still on the show is because she's the daughter of a political celebrity.

  2. It's an embarrasment she's still on. She's as exciting as white rice.

  3. It is difficult to take this show seriously when the WORST dancer of the season skates through show after show. It is obviously nothing more than a popularity contest.

  4. I can't believe Bristol keeps missing the cut. I screamed out loud when Kurt was voted off.

  5. If Bristol Palin makes it to the final three, I will not watch DWTS ever again. The only reason she is still on is because her mother has all of her cronies vote for her. Bristol should never have been on the show to begin with. She is NOT a star; she is NOT a celebrity.

  6. The voting system on DWTS needs to be CHANGED - so instead of voting for who we want ON the show, we should vote for who we want OFF the show!!!!!!! WHY is Bristol still on the show? Or why is she even in the show to start with??? She is NOT a STAR, she is NOT a celebrity - who is she? Where are all the votes for her coming from? Aren't we supposed to be voting for the BEST DANCER???? Even politics have crept into DWTS - what's next?

  7. Bristol Palin should have been gone!!! Its a shame how the WORSE dancer on the show is still on. If she survives next week, I will not even watch the show anymore. She sucks and I hope she goes home where she belongs since she is so homesick!

  8. it is simply ridiculous! kurt can dance better than bristol but why is she still going strong? are we to expect bristol to win this contest? then rename the show to DANCING WITH THE MOST POPULAR!

  9. I think the voting should go back to the judges as to who is to go and to stay. The show was great to watch at one time but, when you see excellent talent being booted off because of I like a person as to real talent it no fun to watch anymore.
Second of all when did Bristol become a "star". I thought you had to be a star to enter.

You should keep this real and let the judges take rein again over who is to go and to stay. I believe the show will not survive another season if something isn't done about this kind of voting behavior.

  10. DWTS is a popularity contest? No! You don't say!

Good grief, people, every season there are people voted off who were superior dancers but just didn't have the following.

Don't worry, she won't win. And Kurt wouldn't have either.

  11. Bristol will end up winning the mirrored trophy, as all of mama's tea party friends are who is keeping her in there.. Regardless of if she is a nice girl in real life, the girl cannot dance!!!..she should of been gone weeks ago before some of the others were pushed out. Why show Palin anyway she is a want to be politician, getting free airtime at her daughter's expense..Not right for the other dancers at all.Let's vote for who we want gone from the show, rather then who we want to stay.. HUMMMMMMM not a bad idea. Unfortunately, she will probably win, and if she does, the best thing she could do is to say, I don't deserve this, give it to the runner-up, as the other 3 people can at least dance..Sorry, if they award the trophy to her, I am done with the show..

  12. I love watching Bristol dance.
She may not be exciting, but she is so very smooth. She glides across the floor like the old-time waltzers, looking as though she is on roller skates. All this emphasis on her "acting" leaves me wondering, don't they see how effortlessly and smoothly she moves?
Everyone on the show is famous, so why bother with whether this is a "popularity" contest. She is a lovely dancer. I root for her every week.

  13. Kurt gone, Bristol stays...sounds a little fishy to me

  14. Bristol may be getting a lot of votes because of her mother but the person I would most like to see voted off is Jennifer Gray. How many more times do we need to see her whining and then having a doctor brought to the set so she can whine somemore about her aches. Grow up Jennifer and act your age. Of course she won't get voted off because she is a professional dancer and I think they should not allow this on DWTS. Just one small oponion

  15. Palin Who!! This girl cannot even dance to a fast song and not to mention after 8 wks on the show she has not even lost 1 pound. This is terrible that she is still on the show and I know that this will be the last season that I watch DWTS to much BS!!!!!!!!!!! when it comes to non celebrities.

  16. I AGREE WITH ALL THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS MADE ABOUT BRISTOL PALIN! SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN VOTED OFF THE SHOW WEEKS AGO, NOT TO MENTION HER PRESENCE ON THE SHOW TO BEGIN WITH! MISS PALIN HOLDS NO STAR OR CELEBRITY STATUS WHAT SO EVER!! HOW DID SHE GET ONTO THE SHOW IN THE FIRST PLACE?? IS DWTS A TALENT SHOW OR IS IT ONE OF WHO IS THE MOST POPULAR?? I UNDERSTOOD IT TO BE A TALENT SHOW! IT IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR TO ALL OF THOSE "STARS" WITH ACTUAL TALENT WHO REMAIN ON THE SHOW AND THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN VOTED OFF TO BE SUBJECTED TO THE OBVIOUS MISREPRESENTATION OF DWTS PRODUCERS TO ALLOW THIS VOTING SYSTEM TO CONTINUE. JUDGES OF THE SHOW MUST RETAIN ULTIMATE DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY ESPECIALLY IN LIGHT OF THE OBVIOUS! NOTHING AGAINST MISS PALIN BUT SHE IS JUST NOT OF THE SAME CALIBER AS OTHER CONTESTANTS ON THE SHOW!!!! IF DWTS WANTS TO REMAIN ONE OF THE MOST WATCHED SHOWS THEY HAVE TO GIVE VOTING BACK TO THE JUDGES!! MY HUSBAND AND I WILL FOR CERTAIN STOP WATCHING IF THIS CONTINUES!!!!

  17. tired of jennifer and her fake aches and constant reminding of her age - please she looks like a 20 year old - she acts like a diva - bristol is not very good at all and she isn't much fun either - I really do not want to see her in the finals - kyle puts as much into his dance as emmit did and he is better but because he is a kid they ride him - brandy sould have gotten her groove earlier but I hope she stays - I don't care who wins I just don't want to see derek hough and his partner get it again I mean come on the deck is always stacked in his favor - brandy or kyle would be nice as winners

  18. bristol has a bunch of young fans - not politicians - they use their parents phones and their phone and the computer - so that is 3xs more than what normal people have access to or are willing to use their time up calling on some goofy reality show... i wish she would try harder oir her coach would yell at her - personality bristol get a personality ... but honestly she is really just a kid

  19. Many of us would like the show to reflect the talent as opposed to a group of people who call themselves the tea party and see this as another venue for them to shove their muscle.

I feel sorry for Bristol, the look on her face every week when she survives shows that she herself cannot believe she survived. If she wins, it will be a pyrhic victory for her, she will know the only reason she won was because her Grizzly Momma's loyal followers want to win this contest so they can show the world Momma Palin's power and influence still exists.

  20. The show has lost tremendous creditalbility with the Sara Bristol saga. The voting system needs to be changed to one vote per phone. The judges, most of the viewing pubic and Sara herself cannot believe she still survives to dance week after week. This has become a true farce and the producers of the show should stop with the gimmicks and focus on to how to solve this voting problem or we will have more of the same.

  21. So this is another chapter that defines The American Way – sorry that you suck, but we’ll vote you in anyway! Whether you deserve it or not, you can win! Great!

  22. Bristol is the "girl next door" that America loves. Just as many or more people hate her mom as like her. Her mom has no influence on DWTS or voters there. When Bristol texted her mom a few wks ago to say she was "safe". Her mom said, "from what, where are you?" Sarah's mind was not on DWTS. She was in AK timezone & show was not aired yet. Bristol nailed the Tango last week. GOOD FOR HER

  23. The show has lost all credibility keeping Bristol Palin on. Like everyone said, she is not a "Star" and definitely can't dance. I have lost all respect for Sarah Palin making all her cohorts vote for Bristol. Shame more unwed Mothers can't get on the show and have Sarah Palin get votes for them....really sends a message out to all teens, right???

  24. Bristol Palin is probably a very nice girl-but she cannot dance, and it is miraculous she has survived this long! Get her off this week (November 16, 2010) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Let us have some good judging again, otherwise I will continue to be disgusted with this show and will not watch it anymore. Decreased ratings will result in cancellation, so lose one viewer, you may lose many. Get priorities straight!

  25. I cannot believe what I just saw. Brandy was voted off. That is insane. What is even more insane is that Bristol is still there. People what the hell. She is as bad as Kate. I am sick of this. This really sucks. And I thought American Idol was a popularity contest. DWTS takes the cake this season. MY GOSH! If she wins I think that would be too hilarious. She cannot dance!!!!!!!!!!

  26. Dancing with the stars is a joke. Night after night a very good dancer was voted off. Bristol Palin can not dance. This is so sad that Brandy got a perfect 10 and was voted off when that Palin girl has stayed in the bottom from week 1.

  27. After watching tonight's results (Nov. 16th) we are furious! Bristol Palin should have been voted off weeks ago! Totally unfair! We won't be watching the show any longer ... it's a waste of time since it's so totally political and full of smoke and mirror tactics! Very disappointing!
The judges' votes should have much more weight.

  28. Yes, i 'm an avid fan of DWTS but after knowing that you able to win not beacause of your talent but because of the people's choice.I felt very upset and it is very disgusting show....i don;t know how to dance but i know who is the best dancer and that none other than......BRANDY...

This is all i can say......it is useless to put judges in DWTS..... everything i think is already scripted......

So , do not put judges anymore...ok.....

    ReplyDelete
  29. If the final of the DWTS based on people's choice .......Bristol will win ..

Grey was already eliminated to go home but why the judges brought her back to the scene ..

I don't really know what's going on with DWTS. My family does'nt like to watch anymore......
