Missile Launch California: A Rogue Missile Or Airplane?

Missile Launch California: a rogue missile or airplane? Yesterday, photographs out of an affiliate news station out of California showed what appeared to be a missile going through the air around California. Immediately, panic ensued.

Was it a rogue missile, or was it simply an airliner jet, photographed from the right angle? The press and everyone would like you to believe that it's just an airplane.

Conspiracy theorists aren't buying it. They think it's something deeper - something far more sinister.

Personally, I don't know what to believe. Good Morning America brought in an expert this morning that explained how the direction of the missile made it appear as if there's no way this is a missile, and that it's really just an airplane.

Sounds fishy to me, doesn't it you? Come on...do you HONESTLY think if there was an "accidental" launch that they would actually reveal that to us? Wouldn't that be a big black eye to to the navy?

What are your thoughts? Missile Launch California: A Rogue Missile Or Airplane?

  1. If it was an airplane, the FAA and the US Air Force could have identified the flight based on radar and location and time Why haven't they made an attempt to tell the public? Maybe it is not an airplane!

  2. Re: Recent missile trail off the coast of California.

Things may have shifted from the East Coast to the West Coast. I wonder if this launch was on one of the arrival or departure air corridors from an airport.

The links below are related to TWA 800. They refer to similar missile launches in the NY metropolitan area.

  3. Contrails do NOT come from jets at ground level from take off and continue. True contrails happen AT ALTITUDE, above 30,000 feet. The contrails being seen as of late that hang out for hours on end are chemicals being sprayed from jets and are NOT true contrails. I don't know why people just can not understand science. If it were a plane and it was noticed right away and suspected as a missile I garantee it was being tracked by NORAD so WTF did it go. Why is no one asking or reporting the destination of this object. Surely it was seen on radar's military and civilian. Where are all the questioning people demanding to know what it was and why the govt is not telling us the truth? This is without a doubt a missle and any idiot can see that.

  4. I live in Orlando and have seen many launches. This is a rocket not a jet!

  5. its a missle. where is it going? hopefully where it should have went 10 years ago

  6. I trust the governments ability to determine "need to know" based on the necessity of national security. In America we have become very accustomed to our "Rights" as citizens. Fact is, there is plenty that goes on that we never know a thing about, and it's better we don't! I understand the concern however for our safety. If it were a threat to the US, it would be handled...expertly. Have no fear, Our military is the best there is. Politics are a whole other thing. But rest assured, average politicians dont want their luxurious lifestyles harmed either. They wont let it, or us be harmed...if they can help it. God bless the USA.

  7. If the gov tries to tell us this is an airplane....that should be all the proof one needs to realize...uncle sam...lies to you...this was either a rut -row..did i do that ?..or..another..dry run from our friends in the middle east/no korea...saying...YA...were about ready....Let me guess..Its bush's fault

  8. As said before if it is an aircraft is would have to be at a high alt. to create a contrail. Anything above 18,000 feet would be in class A airspace, reguiring it to be on a filed IFR (Instrument flight Rules)flight plan. Fairly easy to find out what "aircraft" it was,

  9. Ya gotta buy one premise to stay with me on this. Are you ready? THE EARTH IS ROUND.

If you use binoculars or a scope and watch a plane flying overhead at 35,000 feet as it heads out to sea, that plane will eventually disappear over the horizon. More specifically, the further it moves away from you, the closer to the ground it will appear to be.

Now, does that mean that all planes that fly away from you eventually fly into the ground? No, it means that as they approach the horizon they fly out of sight.

This works in reverse exactly the same way. If you spot a plane at 35,000 feet at a great distance that is flying toward you, you will need to look further and further up all the time to keep it in your binoculars line of vision.

If that plane is flying at a very low level on a warm day, as it was in LA, it won't leave a contrail at all.

I say the video, which I understand to be over ten minutes long, is of a jet approaching the camera. It is not climbing or descending, it is simply flying.

There are two problems with the missile launch theory: 1) Ten minutes is an almost impossible amount of time for a missile to climb and to remain in view. Watch a shuttle launch and you may get to see it for a minute if you are lucky. This thing is burning an impossible amount of fuel to be moving that slowly. 2)If it is an ascending missile, it is moving from twilight to full daylight as it climbs. If that is the case, the smoke trail it leaves behind will change from the color of twilight to pure white as it reaches full daylight. That did not happen here.

The contrail stayed the same color because it was all produced at the same altitude. What appears to be climbing is simply the horizon effect.

  10. I also guarantee it was being tracked by NORAD and is definitely not an airplane. I also have witnessed rocket launches and the telltale attributes tell me this is a rocket. My opinion is that it was deliberately launched. I seriously doubt it was something that was not supposed to happen otherwise known as an accident. The gov't has no intention on telling the public anything that they do not want to. That is, until the public becomes organized and collectively stands-up and demands the truth. Even then, after a now long precedence of passivity the Gov't will try to run over 'we the people'. As for the questioning people demanding to know the truth: they are asleep at the wheel in this country. Take for instance the Stratosphere Aerosol Geo-Engineering (SAG) program that is possibly being used for solar radiation management. It is alarmingly apparent to anyone who watches the skies that chemtrails exist. The SAG program and its chemtrails have been ongoing for more than 10 years now. Some of us people are concerned about the health side effects we uh, seem to be experiencing. Also, sharp increases in both aluminum and barium have been detected and documented in water supplies. Hmmmm?

  11. I saw it from Carlsbad, CA. It really couldn't be the same optical illusion seen both in LA and Carlsbad which is 90 miles south. They are lying to us.

  12. Rocket! Trust me. This is not the horizon effect. I grew up under the flight path of Nellis Air force Base, I've seen the horizon effect. This looks very much like the Challenger video we've all seen or any of the millions of missle launch gulf war videos we've all seen. Show of force? EMP atteck on Cruise ship? Who knows, but definately a missle.

  13. If that was a contrail from a jet, I will sell you the pentagon. Military, as with science, will ignore something it cannot explain or will close it by stating something that most people will likely buy.

  14. do a search for a trident missle launch and also a shuttle launch. You will see they are very similar. This was a solid propellant rocket from a submarine. The cork srew effect in the begining is the missle spinning during launch for stability and bleed off energy. with enuff online research, a fifth grader can figure this out. The pentagon is not being truthful here. They know what is, and it is not a plane.

  15. if this was a jet then why all the disrupt. jets fly all day every day, yet they don't make headline news. could it be that those who have seen jets and rockets can tell the difference? you darn right. i have to say this is the concerning and smells.

  16. Retired Chief Gunner's Mate (Missiles). After participating in roughly 35 launches (and from personal experience), I think I can tell an aircraft launch from a missile launch. Guess which one I think it was?

  17. I was told by an officer with NATO command here in Norfolk, VA that it was a missile launched from a submarine. They "know this", but they "don't know who's sub." That is a direct quote from a trusted source. I can't quote or go on record. I'm not a news reporter. Just a friend of one man in a lofty position. Just thought I'd share "anonymously". His further speculation is that nothing will be stated publicly until the source is identified, and almost 100% turns out to be an accidental launch by a U.S. sub...if it's ever acknowledged. Missile landed safely and unarmed in Pacific.

  18. this is definitely a type of rocket.
i saw it on the 405 on my way home and it was straight out from my view. when i saw it it was about 5:10 and the color of the tail was a blue that i had never seen before, it was awesome.
the angle that i saw was not one of an airplane taking off from lax.
i agree that this had taken off a few miles north of catalina island.
what i dont understand is with so many planes out there, didnt any see something??
    hmmmm

  19. Just tell me which airline and what the flight # was. That should be an easy one IF it was an airliner.

  20. Total SAM test run by rogues. TIN HATS EVERYONE!
Big brothers out and about covering up anything left of the sources they know nothing about. Talk about freedom! They're worried we might question their ability to actually know what goes on! They're too afraid they don't know and afraid we know it! Despite the fact they are more than ever invasive unto privacy BIG TIME.
They're all idiots. We can agrre on that. Why-is a differing and ongoing matter.
Now my IP addresss will be under observation for clues. Wow. Thanks paranoid big brother! Thumbs up! Dorks.

  21. It was a US Airways 757. Flight number is AWE808. Route was Honolulu to Phoenix.

Google "AWE808 webcam" and you can find footage of the contrail taken on both Monday night and Tuesday night. Funny no one wants to argue they were both missiles.

  24. So are we to believe that single-engine, rear mounted passenger jet left LA and stayed low to the ground for 35 miles, then roared up into the air?

    who's bullshifting who, government?

All planes enter flight plans to the FAA., it took them this long to find this jet, or took them this long to decide on which line of bullshift to feed the people?

I live near an international airport, also on the ocean. I have NEVER seen any jet produce that size of a contrail, no matter the weather considtions.

  25. This was possible that it was a missile launched from a submarine. I have a feeling maybe China or Russia. China being my first!
