Donald Trump, Sarah Palin 2012? Donald Trump, known simply as "The Donald" by some, is a real estate mogul, astute businessman, ladies man, and reality TV star...therefore, he would make a perfect president, now wouldn't he? Trump has hinted at running for office in 2012 and has characterized himself as a Republican.

That makes sense - typically, wealthy voters are Republicans because the views of the GOP are more favorable to the wealthy.

Sarah Palin has been coy about running for office, although Todd Palin grew irritated when Joe Miller failed to endorse Sarah Palin via an interview. This seems to hint that Sarah Palin is getting ready for a presidential run, herself.

Now, I don't know if Sarah Palin and Donald Trump would run together or not, but there are far more GOP members that I would love to see snatch the nomination. Mike Huckabee, Chris Christy, and Mitt Romney are all popular names thrown around (although none have made a firm commitment to a presidential run.)

Donald Trump 2012? Coud The Donald Be The Pres?

Donald Trump 2012...hmm. Could "The Donald" be the next President of the United States? He's a real estate mogul, has great connections and can run a successful business. Donald Trump told Fox News that he declares himself a Republican and considers running for the 2012 election.

Could we have instead of a Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin ticket a Donald Trump/Sarah Palin ticket? You have to admit that the GOP is going to have some characters involved in the primaries. Mitt Romney, Chris Christie, Sarah Palin, and Newt Gingrich have all been tossed around as possible contenders for the GOP slot on the 2012 bid.

Trump sees a lot of problems with the US, the main thing is that we don't make anything anymore. He says he'd love "not to do it" but may not have a choice. Man, that will look great on a Democratic smear, ad, wouldn't it?

Could Donald Trump even win the ticket? It will be interesting to see, but personally I think he's better than some of the people that have expressed interest in running for President.

The Ground Zero mosque continues to be controversial. Donald Trump offered to purchase the land where the Cordoba House Islamic Community center is to be built. He is making the offers after growing anger in the American community that a mosque is being erected 300 yards from where Islamic radicals took the lives of over 3,000 Americans.

Some are accusing Trump of using this divisive situation as a means to promote himself. Maybe they are right - but if Trump was successful in his endeavor - and that’s a big if - then would it really matter? In some ways, wouldn’t he be a hero?

There are many rumors going around that the Mosque is going to change location anyways. However, expect the debate over the Ground Zero Mosque and Donald Trump’s generous offer to continue for at least a few more days.
