Elisabeth Hasselbeck - Did Sarah Palin 'Use' Her?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck feels "used" by Sarah Palin - at least according to a report by Popeater. This sounds a little odd, considering that Hasselbeck has been an advocate for Sarah Palin on Barbara Walter's oftentimes liberally slated "The View"

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a genuine person. Her political views are conservative, which gets her criticized by other View members such as Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.

During 2008, Sarah Palin as a Vice Presidential candidate made an appearance on 'The View.' Elisabeth Hasselback was one of her proud supporters, and did everything she could to make the former Alaskan governor's quest to the White House successful. She even introduced Palin at political rallies

However, recently Palin slammed Obama for going on "The View."

On top of that, reports indicate that Palin won't even return Hasselbeck's calls.

Palin will, however, go camping with Kate Gosselin in Alaska. Hmm.

Is Sarah Palin alienating people that could help her politically? Do you think she's still the candidate she was presented as during 2008, or has she turned in to a 'typical politician?'

Sarah Palin North Korea Gaffe A Simple Misstatement, Not Consipracy

Sarah Palin's North Korea Gaffe was an innocent slip of the tongue, although the 'lame stream media' as the former Governor calls it has made it a bigger deal than it really is.  Sarah Palin's North Korea gaffe is being used by the left to illustrate some form of "incompetence", which with all due respect does not exist.

One reason I love Palin is that she doesn't stand idly by and allow people to step all over her.  She took to her social networking sites to speak out about the gaffe, pointing out 10 gaffes from our President.

She's not trying to belittle him, or say that he's incompetent - only that all politicians regardless of party are guilty of such slips of the tongue.

So what was Sarah Palin's gaffe? During a brief radio interview with Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin inadvertently called North Korea our allies. However, if you listen to the ENTIRE interview, you will see that she had it correct all along.

In short, her slip was taken out of context.  The former Alaskan Governor KNOWS that North Korea is NOT our allies.

You can read Sarah Palin's hilarious Thanksgiving address to her readers, here.

In case you didn't hear the ENTIRE Sarah Palin North Korea gaffe, you can view it below.  It was a slip of the tongue.

Sarah Palin Book Tour 2010 Dates Avoid Certain Cities

Sarah Palin's 2010 Book Tour dates avoid certain cities that one would normally include in a book tour. Palin will not be touring in New York, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, or other liberal meccas of our country. Instead, the Palin book tour will focus on more conservative areas - namely the south and southwest.

Her book tour kicked off in Phoenix, Arizona where her 2008 election running mate John McCain calls home. People lined up as early as 1 am to get in line to have the chance to meet the former VP hopeful in person and have her sign a book - and the event didn't transpire until 7:00 PM.

Some of Palin's book tour is along the path less traveled. She will head to a Dillons Marketplace in Andover, Kansas a Sam's Club in Little Rock, AR, a Costco in Brentwood, TN (Nashville Suburb), and Columbia South Carolina.

Of course, she's going where the grassroots movements are the largest. She's going where her supporters outnumber her foes. Isn't that smart, though? I mean...I'd hate to go to a book signing only to have people tell me how much they don't like me. I'd rather go where I'm loved, too.

The graphic, below will illustrate the entire book tour dates for Sarah Palin. If you have gone to one of her signings, we would love to hear from you.

Sarah Palin Katie Couric Interview Controversy Continues

Sarah Palin's Katie Couric interview continues to draw controversy over two years after it aired. Katie Couric isn't exactly who you would call a Sarah Palin fan ... and the trainwreck of an interview in 2008 goes to show that.

On Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin had a very interesting hour long discussion about a variety of things, including her views on the press. When asked if she would ever have another interview with Katie Couric, Palin in a roundabout way said no.

However, the creator of this year's "word of the year" didn't simply utter a two letter word - that would be too easy. She went on to indicate that she has a communications degree, and understands the who, what, where, when, why, and how of journalism -and will have interviews with journalists who understand that basic American freedom.

She won't, however, waste her time with journalists who have strong biases against her, and will use whatever she says to create controversy.

Sharp words.

Of course, some say that Sarah Palin is being overly sensitive. the so-called "gotcha" moment is when Katie Couric asked which publications Sarah Palin reads to stay informed. Palin said "all of them" but Couric wanted specifics.

Honestly, if someone asked me what I read, I'd draw a blank too. However, I'm not grooming myself to be the next governor, vice president, or president.

Arguably, Fox News has had some aggressive interviews with Obama and other Democratic personalities.

Should Sarah Palin talk to Katie Couric again? The question should be - would Katie Couric want to do an interview with Palin?

Sarah Palin's Alaska Premiere.

Sarah Palin's Alaska Premiere. Tonight is TLC's ultimate reality show premiere: Sarah Palin's Alaska. This is an 8 part miniseries that gives us a look in to the life of Sarah Palin, the former Vice Presidential hopeful and former Alaskan Governor.

In her days since John McCain lost his bid to become president, Sarah Palin stepped down from her role as Governor of Alaska and has become a Fox News contributor, authored two books, and has given speeches at events across the country.

Sarah is captivating. In the premiere of the show, we hear her say things like "This is Flippin' Fun!" And mentioning that she'd rather be in the outdoors than a "stuffy political office."

I wonder if that statement will hurt her if she decides to run for President?

However, this is going to be exciting, and an unprecedented look in to the life of a public figure.

Are you going to watch Sarah Palin's Alaska?

Sarah Palin Divorce: RUMOR

Sarah Palin Divorce Rumor. Of course, Sarah Palin has been in the center of a lot of political stories. Her rumored 2012 presidential bid, her daughter is in a reality show - and come to think of it, Sarah Palin's Alaska premieres this week on TLC.

It comes as no surprise that Sarah Palin's entire life is in the public eye. Living in the public eye, you become susceptible to the chance of falling victim to nasty rumors.

And that's what's happened to Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin and Todd Palin, despite the rumors to the contrary - are NOT getting divorced. I repeat - Sarah Palin and her "First Dude" are still a happily married couple.

Come to think of it - Sarah Palin didn't even know about her divorce - and $20 million settlement - until she read about it in the grocery store.

She and Todd are pretty good people. They just laughed it off. At least Sarah Palin and her husband know that they will fall victim to these sorts of things like rumors.

'Sarah Palin's Alaska' Premiere At TLC

'Sarah Palin's Alaska' Premiere At TLC is something that Tea Party supporters, Sarah Palin fans, and Sarah Palin foes are excited to see. What's up with Sarah Palin, the political icon that has the entire nation captivated in a sense.

Even if you don't particularly agree with her political views, there's something about Sarah Palin that is essentially magnetic. Perhaps it's that she makes up words. Perhaps it's that she refers to women candidates for office as "Mama Grizzlies" or perhaps it's that she refers to the average person as "Joe Six Pack"

There's something about her that's so...down to earth. We can see her as the average "hockey mom" but perhaps not Commander in Chief.

Below see a video premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska." It's a show that's highly anticipated. Perhaps it will tell us more about Sarah Palin and what makes her tick.

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin...up until two years ago, she was somewhat elusive, rather unheard of. Now, Sarah Palin is one of the most talked about characters in the GOP. Many think that she will run for president in 2012, although few think she will be successful in gaining the nomination - at least not in 2012.

The Tea Party loves Sarah Palin, and she's been the endorser of several key Tea Party candidate upsets. For instance, Joe Miller from Alaska, and Christine O'Donnell from Delaware.

Most recently, Palin endorsed Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman, calling them her 'Mama Grizzlies', and despite her eager endorsements, neither Whitman or Fiorina were present at that particular venue.

Sarah Palin's Alaska will be a show on TLC soon, and is a simple reality miniseries. It will show us the personal side of Palin...but will that hurt or help her political ambitions?

See below for a video of Sarah Palin. What are your thoughts? Do you love her or not?

Carly Fiorina For Senate Sarah Palin Endorsement

Carly Fiorina for Senate! That's the endorsement that was given by Sarah Palin this weekend. California is in a tight Senate race between long-time incumbent Barbara Boxer and former HP CEO Carly Fiorina. However, the Senate race in California is neck and neck.

Sarah Palin has been endorsing candidates right and left. It actually comes as little surprise that she would endorse Fiorina, although some have said that Carly and the GOP Gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman have been distancing themselves from Palin because Californian voters don't tend to have a favorable opinion of Palin.

Whitman and Fiorina didn't join Palin in Anaheim...they campaigned elsewhere - showing their distance from the individual.

Below is news coverage of Sarah Palin giving Carly Fiorina an endorsement.

Sarah Palin California Rally: "Soon We'll All Be Dancing"

Sarah Palin told a California GOP rally that "soon we'll all be dancing." As we enter the final two weeks before the November 2 mid-term 2010 elections, both the GOP and the Democrats will be fighting hard to ensure that voters make it to the polls.

The mid-term election is met with about as much bravado as a presidential election year. The Democratic lead in the House and Senate is in jeopardy as an anti-incumbent sentiment has swept over Americans.

Perhaps one of the most vocal Republican voices is that of Sarah Palin. She's skyrocketed out of nowhere to become one of the most well known political figures. Before the election two years ago, she was an obscurity. A seemingly unknown governor. Now, she's a GOP rock star.

Despite her popularity, there are mixed feelings about a presidential bid by Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin Stalker Restraining Order

Sarah Palin Stalker restraining order was issued. A judge in Alaska has granted a 6 month protective order prohibiting Shawn Christy from stalking Sarah Palin or having contact with the former governor or her family.

This is after a temporary 20 day order was issued last month. The young man from Pennsylvania told the former VP hopeful that he was buying a one-way ticket to Alaska and even sent her a receipt for a gun.

Palin told the judge that the ordeal made her fearful that his actions would lead to her injury or death.

Sarah Palin has a propensity to attract fruity people. Back during the presidential election in 2008 her personal email was hacked. The perpetrator, David Kernell, is the son of a state legislator in Tennessee...and a Democratic one at that.

Sarah Palin is also related to Barack Obama, and you can find out here how.

Barack Obama & Sarah Palin Cousins? You Betcha!

Barack Obama & Sarah Palin cousins? You betcha! The Associated Press reports in the video below that Obama and Palin are 10th cousins through a common ancestor who lived in the 17th century. The Commander in Chief is also 10th cousins to Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney and 11th cousins to President Bush.

I guess it's safe to say that these family relationships are on his mother's side of the family? Obama's father is a native of Kenya so I would think the common ancestors were on the American continent.

The AP gets their information from folks at ancestry.com. Genealogists study family trees and ancestors every day. In some respects, everyone is related if you go back far enough.

Hey...all families are dysfunctional. However, when you're sitting at Thanksgiving this year fighting with your family, think of how dysfunctional it would be for Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney, Bush, Obama, and Sarah Palin to be together in one place?

Donald Trump, Sarah Palin 2012?

Donald Trump, Sarah Palin 2012? Donald Trump, known simply as "The Donald" by some, is a real estate mogul, astute businessman, ladies man, and reality TV star...therefore, he would make a perfect president, now wouldn't he? Trump has hinted at running for office in 2012 and has characterized himself as a Republican.

That makes sense - typically, wealthy voters are Republicans because the views of the GOP are more favorable to the wealthy.

Sarah Palin has been coy about running for office, although Todd Palin grew irritated when Joe Miller failed to endorse Sarah Palin via an interview. This seems to hint that Sarah Palin is getting ready for a presidential run, herself.

Now, I don't know if Sarah Palin and Donald Trump would run together or not, but there are far more GOP members that I would love to see snatch the nomination. Mike Huckabee, Chris Christy, and Mitt Romney are all popular names thrown around (although none have made a firm commitment to a presidential run.)

Sarah Palin 2012: Todd Palin eMail Update Suggest Campaign

Sarah Palin 2012? Todd Palin, Sarah's notorious boy toy (and husband) has taken to email a message that seems to suggest that the Tea Party advocate will be running for office in 2012. The Huffington Post reported on a shocking email exchange between a frustrated Todd Palin and Alaskan Senate hopeful Joe Miller.

Joe Miller is the tea-party backed candidate from Alaska who won against incumbent Lisa Murkowski in the primary elections. Murkowski has since announced a write-in campaign to challenge Miller.

However, Miller was able to raise fundraising and gain media awareness only after the Palins endorsed him publicly.

Now that Joe Miller is involved in the Senate race, he went on Fox News to talk to Neil Cavuto. During the interview, Cavuto asked Miller if Sarah Palin was qualified to be president. He had a non-committal answer that infuriated Todd and Sarah Palin.

So Todd fires off an eMail to Miller, calling endorsements "one-sided" which is odd because Sarah Palin hasn't even announced a run. Sarah put her political career on the line for Joe Miller, and if he wouldn't have won then she would look to be an ineffective member of political circles.

This is only the latest indication of Sarah Palin's 2012 presidential bid. Would you vote for her?

Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars Performance Video After Week 2 Complete

Bristol Palin's Dancing with the Stars 2010 week 2 performance kept her in the running for another week. Wearing a conservative purple gown, she and Mark Ballas delivered the quickstep to "You Can't Hurry Love", which many circles say was a direct message to Levi Johnston, her baby daddy.

The 2010 Dancing with the Stars season continues, and it's Michael Bolton who was sent packing this week. Given that he got a 12/30 that's no surprise.

The crowd loves Bristol Palin. She scored a 22/30 when she danced, and Sarah Palin was there to watch her and cheer her on.

Some are critical of how the judges treated Palin, claiming that she got preferential treatment when they weren't as critical of her as they were other performers. Others claim that's just because Palin is a good dancer.

It was a great night last night on DWTS. It's sad to see Michael Bolton go home, but Bristol Palin is still in the running after week 2 of Dancing with the Stars 2010.

Mitt Romney: Sarah Palin "Re-Energized" GOP [VIDEO]

Mitt Romney says that Sarah Palin "Re-Energized" the GOP. It's hard to believe that Meghan McCain is for "Team Romney" but really doesn't seem to like Sarah Palin - but then the former Massachusetts governor is pro-Palin.

Romney says that the former Alaskan governor is a fresh face that helped start the Tea Party movement, and that she also helped inspire a lot of women politicians. He said "We have a lot of women candidates running for office. When John McCain sat down and probably put down a list of who are some of the leading women in the Republican Party he could select as a VP, it was probably not a real long list and that's going to be different."

Whether or not the former VP hopeful will make a run for president in 2012 has yet to be seen, but she seems to be on the GOP short list along with Romney, Chris Christie, and Newt Gingrich.

Palin has been a force within the Tea Party and the GOP. Although she's made some different decisions, she still remains front and center in the media. Love her or hate her, Sarah Palin has changed the face of the GOP - but tell us what you think is that good or bad?

Sarah Palin DWTS 2010 Season 11 Appearance

Sarah Palin DWTS 2010 season 11 appearance came during week 2 of Dancing with the Stars rather than the season premiere as expected. Of course, she's a "Mama Grizzley" and a "Hockey Mom" so what do you expect? Her oldest daughter is on one of the hottest Reality shows on TV and of course she will show up!

Bristol looked very Sarah Palin-esque during her week 1 performance - well, at least the beginning. Click here if you missed it to watch the video of Mark Ballas and Bristol Palin performing "Momma Told Me Not to Come."

This week, she danced to "You Can't Hurry Love", and it was supposed to be a jab at baby Daddy Levi. During the week, somewhere between practicing for the show, Mark Ballas took a trip up to Alaska and met the Mama bear.

All in all, I think Sarah was proud of her daughter. When she was asked during the first half who the best contestant was so far, she didn't give her opinion. It's obvious that the best contestant to her is her daughter, "Bristol the Pistol."

"Bristol the Pistol" Additional Sarah Palinisms

Sarah Palinisms make us laugh - and the latest Sarah Palinism to surface is her nickname for Bristol - "Bristol the Pistol." In an "aww schucks" moment, when DWTS partner Mark Ballas met the former Alaskan governor it was just like meeting any other hockey mom.

Warm, cozy house? Check.
Hug? Check
Embarrassing nicknames revealed? Check.
Mom taking embarassing Twitter pictures with dancing partner? Check.

See...Bristol Palin is just like you and me!

Leave it to Sarah Palin to come up with a name for pretty much anything. In our modern day, I would venture to say that she's invented more words than any other political figure out there...and she's done her share of quirky things such as writing a list of points she wanted to make at a speech in Nashville on her hand.

And to this date, I still don't know anyone who insists on having flexible straws with their drinking water. But "Bristol the Pistol" is definitely one of the funniest Sarah Palinisms of them All.

Dancing with the Stars Scores, Recap Week 2 Brings Bristol and Ballas Good Scores on DWTS

Dancing with the Stars scores and recap for week 2 are available. The DWTS (Dancing with the Stars) week 2 scores and recap were exciting for the political world especially those that are rooting for Bristol Palin. This week, it appears as if she will be safe once more. She may not be the strongest, but she's certainly not the weakest.

Bristol and Mark Ballas received a score of 22/30 - pretty good! Two 7's and an 8 - much better than the 6/6/6 score she got last week.

Bristol also took Mark Ballas home to meet the mother bear. Sarah Palin was like any other beaming mom, so proud of their kid. She gave Mark a hug and thanked him for taking care of her daughter.

Sarah Palin was also in the audience, but wouldn't comment when asked who she thought the strongest candidate was. It was an amazing night that's for sure - well, as long as you're not Michael Bolton.

Sure, Michael Bolton can sing, but he sure can't dance! He scored the first ever "3" in show history! Bolton got a 12/30.

Other scores include Jennifer Grey's 24, Rick Fox, Brandy and Kurt Warner both scored 21/30 with their partners; Audrina Patridge got 23; Florence Henderson got 19; Kyle Massey got a 22 and the judges love him.

The Dancing with the Stars Scores and recap from week 2 look good for Bristol Palin. Are you voting for her on DWTS Week 2 or not?

Sarah Palin, Bristol DWTS, and Christine O'Donnell

Sarah Palin has a lot going on. Bristol Palin, her eldest daughter, is Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) and her protege and "Mama Grizzly" Tea Party-backed Delaware senate hopeful Christine O'Donnell is the target of Comedian Bill Maher. Of course, Palin's not running for office this mid-term election. Instead, she's rallying for the Tea Party, contributing to Fox News, and more.

Bristol is on Dancing with the Stars, and during her first week she scored 6-6-6 from the judges, which means she got an 18 out of 30 possible points. She sort of poked fun of her mother Sarah during her dance, which if you missed can be found here.

After Bill Maher started releasing tapes of Christine O'Donnell's wacky ways, Sarah Palin has come in to defend her. This comes as little surprise, as Palin is one of the biggest faces in the Tea Party movement.

Sarah Palin may have a lot going on, but at least she keeps it real. Hopefully Bristol will stay on DWTS for a while, but I don't know what to hope for when it comes to Christine O'Donnell!
