Washington State 2010 election results are available, and the Washington State results point out that Murray is keeping a lead over Rossi in what has become one of the closest races in the nation. Given that all ballots in the state are mail-in it could be a while before the true results are available. The election results in the state of Washington show that the incumbent Patty Murray has a slight lead over Dino Rossi, the GOP challenger. This is one of those Senate races that everyone's keeping an eye on as the GOP has narrowed the Democratic majority in the Senate AND has successfully taken over the House of Representatives.
Obama's agenda will be harder to push through the ranks now that the GOP holds the House and has narrowed the lead in the senate. Electing Dino Rossi to represent Washington would further challenge Obama's agenda.
