Washington State 2010 election results are available, and the Washington State results point out that Murray is keeping a lead over Rossi in what has become one of the closest races in the nation. Given that all ballots in the state are mail-in it could be a while before the true results are available.

The election results in the state of Washington show that the incumbent Patty Murray has a slight lead over Dino Rossi, the GOP challenger. This is one of those Senate races that everyone's keeping an eye on as the GOP has narrowed the Democratic majority in the Senate AND has successfully taken over the House of Representatives.

Obama's agenda will be harder to push through the ranks now that the GOP holds the House and has narrowed the lead in the senate. Electing Dino Rossi to represent Washington would further challenge Obama's agenda.

Alaska election 2010 results show that the "write-in" candidate has the majority of the votes. The "write in" Alaska election 2010 candidate is presumed to be Lisa Murkowski, the incumbent republican Senator.

She was beaten by Joe Miller during the primaries, which was a shocking upset that showed the rest of the country that America is growing tired with the way that Washington currently works. The incumbent disdain is growing strong in a multitude of localities.

Still yet, Joe Miller's campaign was met with a ton of controversy and in the end some of the things revealed during the campaign could have cost him critical votes, despite a resonating endorsement from Sarah Palin.

This is, by far, the most shocking election results. If Murkowski wins as a write-in candidate for the Alaska senate race, it will be one of the only times in history something like that has happened.

[AK] Alaska Election Results 2010 [SENATE] The Alaska Senate race won't be over for quite some time. It appears as if the candidate "write-in" has won the majority of the votes, meaning that all of the ballots must go to the state's capital to be hand counted and verified.

This becomes a subjective mess, and one we can thank incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski for. She lost the GOP nomination to Joe Miller, a Tea Party favorite who had the endorsement of Sarah Palin during the primaries.

Lisa Murkowski ran as a write-in, and showcased that the GOP isn't as united as they should be given that we are in the worst of times.

Joe Miller, had Murkowski not won, would likely be heading to Washington. However, I can't blame Murkowski for trying to keep her job.

All that being said, it has to be verified that the votes were in favor of Lisa. However do you really doubt that the majority of the votes aren't for her?

Harry Reid election results 2010 are in, and the Tea Party sweetheart Sharron Angle was unable to defeat Harry Reid. The Senate Majority leader will return to the Senate, which is expected to remain BLUE.

Sharron Angle was seen by many as a little too "out there" and didn't even support long term unemployment, despite her state having the largest unemployment rate in the nation.

Harry Reid, however, wasn't expected to win the race going in to it because he's not well loved in his state. He's seen by many as a "rubber stamp" to the President's agenda, although when the Senate reconvenes in January it will be a very different mood, and it won't be as easy for the Senate to go along with the president's agenda without challenging him on issues that aren't popular with the American people.

It will be interesting to see what role Harry Reid will play in the repeal of Healthcare, which is something that many Americans want on the agenda. However, Reid played an integral part of the passage, and he might have to flip flop to keep his constituents happy.

This is one of the important Senate races. It is also the most expensive Senate race, with $30 million in outside funds spent on the race. Therefore, it is important for both sides to win this race.

The Colorado election results are also met with the Alaska election results and the Florida Governor race results as potential races that have not been called yet and could be too close to call.

Although it's not certain who is the write in candidate in question, many assume it's Lisa Murkowski.

Joe Miller won over Murkowski for the GOP nomination during the primaries after being backed by Sarah Palin. Alaska Senate Race 2010: a write-in wins Senate Race? Considering that the votes have been counted electronically, the Alaska Senate race 2010 has not been called yet.  Why not? The majority of the people in Alaska have voted for a write-in candidate. 


That means that all the ballots must head to the state's capital and be counted...by hand.  The "intent" of what the voter wrote in is somewhat subjective.  "Lisa Murkowski" is hard to spell, and if there are other "Lisa M's" and other similar looking names running for Alaska's senate seat, then well...there could be some big problems. 


Already, people are concerned about voter fraud in Alaska's Senate race.  The GOP is frustrated with Lisa Murkowski's insistence on running...had she not run for her Senate seat, then Joe Miller would have been a sure thing. 


Miller defeated Murkowski in the primaries after receiving the endorsement of former Governor Sarah Palin. However, Miller faced significant scandals and therefore could have lost critical votes to Murkowski when she announced she would run as a write-in,

Washington Election Results 2010: Could Rossi Beat Murray? The Washington Election results are some of the most difficult to determine in the nation, as the state votes by mail-in only. The Senate race between Dino Rossi and Pat Murray is one of those pivotal seats that the nation is watching for the US Senate.
