[AZ] Arizona Prop 203 Results Available?

[AZ] Arizona Prop 203 Results Available? Another marijuana legalization measure was on the ballot during the 2010 mid term elections. Arizona prop 203 would legalize marijuana in the state of Arizona, but appears to have failed by a very, very narrow margin.

This again signifies why every vote counts.

Among other things, Prop 203 would create not only a way for suffering individuals to seek some relief from their symptoms, but would bring in tax revenue to the state and would also reduce the amount of money heading to Mexico and hopefully bring down drug crimes.

In addition, Prop 19 was defeated in California, which would have become the first state to widely approve the use of marijuana by all citizens, an not just for medical purposes.

It seems that given the narrow margins, marijuana usage is a bi-partisan issue that people are still resistant to. It's sad, but it appears as if Prop 203 has failed. Bummer.

  1. They are actually counting votes right now. there was only a 3000 vote margin with 250000 mail-in votes not counted yet

  2. It's true. With about 250,00-300,00 provisional and late ballots to count. Those are the early ballots that had to be turned in instead of mailed due to time constraints. The major problem is this state is SO CORRUPT! Live here for awhile and you would see. 41 years should be enough for me to say this state is crooked. We cut the margin from 6000 to 300 in just one day (yesterday).

  3. Prop 203 is not for full legalization- it is for medical marijuana and a dispensary system like Colorado and California's.

Also - Prop 203 has not failed yet this is early reporting. Like another poster said, it is 49.86% 692,062 YES versus 50.14% 695,932 NO. They have a good 250,000 ballots (early and provisional) to still count and it's going slowly. The early/prov ones they DID count so far had a good YES margin though- if the trend continues that way Prop 203 will pass. Its currently only 3800 votes between yes and no right now. 4. Guys these blogs keep popping up just to get your views on their ads. Stay off bullshit 'news' blogs. There's a reason it hasn't been reported yet anywhere else or on the state website.

  5. seems like there's a mis-information campaign going on. What is the true poll count, last I heard was that it was behind by a few hundred votes, not 5000 as mentioned on the AP wire/

PLUS other COUNTRIES have it and hava a less crime rates.... <<<< Sad.... No on 203's want to have more crime. SADDDDD do you really think people are going to travel and commit crime when their life is finally and no matter what will continue to be at ease. I find it funny no matter what that there will be access to it. lmfao. Laws... blah. there needs to be a shift at looking at lives. Apparently some people don't understand the statement what it would be like to live in somebody elses shoes

  10. I agree this is bs. I challenge anybody who voted no on prop 203 to look a cancer patient in the eyes and tell them why they voted no. No good reason at all.

  13. It's unfortunate, but intelligence snd the ability to comprehend are not pre-requirements to exercise one's right to vote. Compassion, which has always been an American value, is being flushed down the commode as we watch the debacle raised over Prop 203.

If you look at the multi-decade mis-information campaign against Cannabis, which actually was strongly racist claiming that this plant was used by Blacks, Mexicans and other individuals with questionable morals prior to raping and impregnating young "White" women. It's easy to see how these type of allegations would create fear in the feeble-minded.

I guess compassion for those cancer patients and people in chronic pain doesn't amount to anything. The same people voting against Prop 203 probably would be in favor of Euthanasia to address the issues of this initiative.

  14. It would NOT make marijuana legal... It make it's MEDICAL use legal in certain circumstances

  15. I cannot believe this is still undecided!
I also don't understand how anyone could vote against this.
Why should people who are seeking to ease their pain be made into criminals?

  16. They vote against it because they don't care. All they care about is themselves. The control and absolute say-so makes them feel almighty powerful. Better than looking another cancer patient in the eyes and telling them "NO" perhaps it will be them someday. Obviously they are clueless.

  20. I saw that it narrowed down to 3,000 votes I'm not sure if it went back up to 5,000 again but they do have to have to be decided by November 12th.

  21. hopefully officals don't be all corrupt and omit some votes.

  22. The "NO" voters for Arizona's Proposition 203 are idiots, of course, but the proponents of Hemp/Marijuana legalization aren't much better. Numero Uno, prohibition is unConstitutional in America. Numero Two-o, Hemp Seed oil will replace our petroleum/fossil fuel consumption/usage while putting millions to work harvesting it bi-annually. Using Hemp will clean up the environment, save billions of dollars in oil purchases, and (listen up naysayers) stop the criminal element from exploiting this plant! No more killings/murders/wasted law enforcement efforts. IT IS NOT A DRUG! This is just the tip of the benefits we're missing by not using Hemp. America, throw your seeds in the ground and GROW, GROW, GROW! If the Feds don't like it, WE THE PEOPLE will take them to court. It is time to put aside childish things and be the adults our children count on!
