Christine O'Donnell Gawker Story: Did One Night Stand Account Cross the Line? In a word, YES!! Christine O'Donnell, as wacky as she is, was the VICTIM in a story posted by Gawker's Web site. In the account, a man described a very intimate story of his encounter with Christine O'Donnell. If you read the story, they didn't actually go all the way, so to say that the whole thing was a "one night stand" is a misnomer, to say the least. The hope of publishing the story was to make Christine O'Donnell look like a whore, which if you actually read the piece you will see that she doesn't sound like she was very "experienced." Both the right and the left are outraged over Christine O'Donnell's Gawker story. It's a low blow that shouldn't have been dealt, and although the Coons camp has condemned the publishing of the story, O'Donnell and others think that her Democratic opponent is to blame for at least some of the story.
Sure, Christine O'Donnell may not win the election. What has she won? Name recognition, and I don't care who you are...that will turn out to be a good thing.
