Look at the Tiger Woods scandal. What started as an affair allegation in the National Enquirer ballooned to double digit droves of women claiming to have been involved with the athlete.

Arguably, there's the possibility that these men are trying to somehow get something from the Bishop. However, some would argue that someone wouldn't lie about these types of claims in legal proceedings, as that can get you in a considerable amount of trouble.
Without knowing the victims, and without knowing the Bishop it's hard to pass judgement. Yes, the allegations could be true - but then again, they could be a lie as well.
In 1985 the Bishop got divorced. His ex wife claims he has a violent temper, and even lashed out at her while she was pregnant. However, again the Bishop denies the claims in the divorce proceedings and his ex wife cannot be reached for comment. Her brother knew nothing of the allegations, and says that Long is a "fine fellow."

Eddie Long must step down. There is a Biblical discipline of correction within the true leadership of the Body of Christ. Is Eddie Long a wolf in sheep's clothing? God only truly knows-- all the more reason for Eddie Long to follow scriptural admonition for the Pastor who yields his body parts to sin. The Jamal Parris interviews seal the deal on the nature of the accusations. I believe that God is showing Eddie Long the truth of what it means when "what's done in the dark, will come to light." If he sowed as much pain as Jamal Parris publicly testifies then he shall publicly reap the same. Watch, and behold a Holy God....

LET US WAIT PATIENTLY AND IF THEY ARE TRUE THAN WE WHO ARE SPIRITUAL ASK IN PRAY TO RESTORE THIS MAN. (or the young men who brought on the accusations also)
