The Rally to Restore Sanity countdown begins. Next weekend will be the Rally to Restore Sanity at our nation's capital. Hosted by Comedy Central TV personalities Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, the rally is slated to be even bigger than the rally to restore honor hosted by Glenn Beck. While Jon Stewart is behind the Rally to Restore Sanity, Colbert is behind the March to Keep Fear Alive. The two dueling rallies are a parody of the 8/28 events of Glenn Beck and Reverend Al Sharpton.
Some aren't happy at all with the decision to host this rally the weekend before voters head to the polls. Several liberal activists who would have otherwise hit the streets getting people to vote are going to head instead to the rally, which could potentially impact liberal voter turnout.
However the two rallies are bound to be a success. I'm looking forward to reporting more next week on the Rally to Restore Sanity. Below see a video clip about this rally.
