[Calif.] California Election Results 2010 [UPDATES]

California Election Results 2010 are available.  Major California election races included prop 19, the Senate Race, and the Gubernatorial race.  In the end, prop 19 failed to legalize marijuana.  In addition, incumbent Barbara Boxer kept her seat in the US Senate.

Jerry Brown, the former governor of California back in the 80's re-claimed his post.  Meg Whitman, the billionaire ex-CEO of eBay lost her bid to become California's first woman governor. This is actually quite curious, because on Glenn Beck yesterday he showed a clip of Jerry Brown saying back in the 80's that you say what you need to say to get elected, but nothing ever changes.

Carly Fiorina didn't win, either. As we mentioned before, Barbara Boxer is heading back to the Senate.  This is another GOP blow.

Nancy Pelosi was re-elected to serve another term in the House, although at this time it's uncertain if she will serve.  She was the first female Speaker of the House, dubbed "The Most Powerful Woman in Washington", although she is without her old post now that the GOP took over the House.  John Boehner, the representative from an Ohio District is the presumed speaker of the House now.

What are your thoughts on the California Election results 2010 updates?

  3. CA & NY are democratic strong holds, mostly because we have the world's foremost businesses, schools, and people from all over the world love us. You might want to move to one of the ignorant bible belt states that still propose that the world is flat. You might feel more at home amongst your incestuous-toothless-redneck kind.

  4. Once again California has made the huge mistake of voting for Democrats. Bring on the taxes and regulations Jerry Brown.

  5. I'm so glad the west coast has not lost it's sense of mind like a lot of the rest of the country! Yes, I'm an Oregonian, and a PROUD democrat! Away with you, evil republicans! Move east of the Rocky's and don't come back.

  6. Not true. They are Union strongholds and the biggest entitlement states. Most of your votes are bought. It's just as Miller said--losers vote for losers. I love California, but it is full of losers and so is NY. I am both smart (by far-left standards) and wealthy (by far-left standards), grew up in a wealthy area in NY and now live in California so I can tell you from experience. You lefties keep fooling yourselves. You are all rotting from the inside out and you know it...what you learned on Tuesday is that not everyone wants to drink your poison.

  7. Wow... Equating a predominantly middle and low class of people as "losers". You need to realize that your "wealthy "background gives you no real emotional understanding of the needs of a middle to lower-class person, struggling to stay afloat at the same time as being terrified of exploring life and it's possibilities because they might get physically hurt, and then you're working to stay afloat and pay hospital bills.....forget about any endeavors or dreams. But someone like you just thinks that because you can do it, everyone can. You clearly formulate your ideals and world views without acknowledging how the world and human nature will always work, but more from just how you, selfishly, think they should be....maybe it's just that poor people disgust you. One thing is clear..... You're only capable of your own perspective.

  9. The Wicked Witch of the West had her castle melted around her - oh my! How are the rest of us going to possibly live without her to guide us, tell us what we should think and act, oh my. We actually might have to have some of us go back to work instead of waiting for the government to run our lives and give us everything - oh what am I thinking, all the businesses moved out, so that isn't going to happen! Better try to build that castle so we can get more hand outs!
