Meghan McCain: Christine O'Donnell 'Nut Job'

Meghan McCain called Christine O'Donnell a 'nutjob.' OF course, Meghan McCain is a centrist when it comes to the GOP, but she tends to stick with the tried-and-true crew. She prefers the Mitt Romneys of the bunch. This isn't particularly a bad thing.

And come to think of it, it's not all that surprising that McCain isn't fond of O'Donnell. It's well known that she had reservations about Sarah Palin, and I don't think that the soon-to-be TLC reality TV show star will be expecting an endorsement from Meghan.

O'Donnell's sudden bid for the Senate seat once held by Joe Biden in Delaware scares McCain because the candidate has no real experience in anything. McCain was quoted as saying "It scares me for a lot of reasons, and I just know in my group of friends, it just turns people off, because she’s seen as a nut job,”

Meghan McCain on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, speaking about her book, Dirty Sexy Politics, discussed Sarah Palin. Meghan McCain's book is about more than just Sarah Palin, but the former Alaskan Governor is something that many people read the book for.

Dirty Sexy Politics is about the 2008 presidential bid and campaign, where Meghan McCain followed her father, John McCain on the campaign trail.  She notes a weird obsession with Mit Romney and even admits to taking down some of his campaign signs (which is against the law, by the way.)


What was McCain's reaction to the announcement that John McCain's running mate was Sarah Palin? "Who the hell is Sarah Palin" and she also prayed to herself that the Alaska Governor (at the time) didn't have any skeletons in her closet.


Well, she did.  The Troopergate scandal, coupled with Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter, Bristol, being pregnant added to campaign difficulties.


Although McCain aligns herself politically with the Republicans, she says she won't vote for anyone with a "them vs us" mentality, taking a direct stab at Palin's divisive style of politics.

Meghan McCain Campaign Memoir as Dirty, Sexy Politics as Sexy as Twitter Breasts Photo?

Meghan McCain's 2008 campaign memoir is surfacing, and many are lead to wonder if it beats her Twitter breast photo. McCain is the daughter of former presidential hopeful John McCain, and is a popular conservative republican Blogger.

McCain's Memoir, titled Dirty Sexy Politics is out today. In the book, McCain makes some pretty...interesting confessions.

Perhaps the funniest thing in the book is that she talks of a weird mini "obsession" with Mitt Romney, and even admits to stealing campaign signs during a Republican primary.

When speaking of Romney, she called him handsome in a "teeth whitening commercial" kind of way, and discusses dread that ensued from the possibility that her father would choose him as a running mate.

If you are in to conservative politics, Megan McCain's memoir is a great read. If you're a liberal, it might give you some laughs. Either way the campaign from the perspective of Meghan McCain is available at a bookstore near you.

Meghan McCain: Could John McCain's Loss be Sarah Palin's Fault?

Meghan McCain opened up about Sarah Palin in her new memoir Dirty Sexy Politics. She even went as far as to ask the question if her father's loss was Sarah Palin's fault. While she doesn't all out blame Palin, there is a sense of tension in her words. Later in the book she clarifies that she doesn't blame Palin.

McCain says that Palin brought "stress, drama, complications, panic and loads of uncertainty" to the campaign. She goes on to say that Palin wasn't a "Cinderella story", but that she was a "freakishly huge full-fledged phenomenon."

In reading Dirty, Sexy Politics you almost can't help but wish that the whole thing was a reality TV show. Sarah Palin's strong-willed personality and demands coupled with the tight knit McCains had to be....for lack of better words, a "hoot."

Still yet, when I think of Sarah Palin, I think of a running mate more like Glenn Beck. Although Beck says he has "no desire" to become President, their quirkiness makes them almost made for each other.

Like Meghan McCain, I would have seen her father with someone more like Mitt Romney. Meghan even ventured to admit she secretly hoped that her father would have picked Joe Lieberman as a running mate.

So is John McCain's loss Sarah Palin's fault? There are likely some Palin adversaries that think that it is her fault, but Meghan McCain doesn't blame her.
